Les Tablées de Vic has become one of the most original events of the summer... and one of the most delicious. A culinary extravaganza based on local produce and prepared by regional and national chefs, this is the simple recipe for a more-than-perfect event. With music, concerts, entertainment, good humor and gastronomic shows, over 3,000 visitors have already taken their places in the hall to taste and admire these artists in the midst of their creations. Three days of festivities just the way we like them!

In the mountains of the Val d'Azun, the En Cadence association organizes this annual festival of traditional music and dance. Locals and lovers of Occitan culture come together for this event, for various music and dance workshops and courses, but above all for the ball! Over the course of several days, you'll sing, dance, enjoy exhibitions of lutherie and instrument making, a storytelling stroll, bowling demonstrations and a local producers' market. A total immersion in local culture!

For runners, the GRP is a bit like the Grail. Marathon runners from all over the world come here every year and the event is anything but confidential! It must be said that the environment, as splendid as it is harsh, looks incredibly challenging and more than 4,000 of them face it every year. The formula is the right one, but you still have to choose your own: winter version, the cold is there, especially with three departures and three distances to Pla d'Adet in the resort of Saint-Lary-Soulan. An offer that includes the 10, 20 and 30 kilometres with a difference in altitude ranging from 700 to 2,000 metres! In summer, don't think that the deal is easier, it's the mythical meeting with four distances and a challenge in four stages. Tour du Néouvielle of 43 kilometres, tour of the lakes of 82 kilometres, tour of the Cirques of 123 kilometres and the famous Ultra Tour of 167 kilometres, to be done alone or in a trio relay: the Louron valley is a playground open to the experienced! The three-day race is another way to tackle the mountains and the youngest are finally on board with the all-new P'tit Tour open to children. The twelfth edition will still be exceptional, let's not provide it.

It is dedicated to traditions, but its reputation has made it a festive custom not to be missed: the Sunday following the 15th of August is every year the rendez-vous of Loudenvielle where agro-pastoralism and local crafts are celebrated. On the banks of the magnificent Genos lake, discover the delicacies of a territory that lacks neither flavour nor character. More than 90 exhibitors reveal the best of a mountain that can be sung, danced and tasted... without counting the cost!

When the kids have their party, you can say that it moves! Imagine a real mountain village transformed into a village dedicated to games. From the thermal park to the town centre, the show is everywhere. The little ones can't leave the twenty or so huge inflatable structures. A park of games of skill and wooden games is set up. Theatrical shows bring together all these little people who religiously listen to the tales. An enchanting and regressive festival!

For some years now, the lake of Lourdes has been taking its summer quarters and to make these quarters synonymous with real holidays, it even transforms its shores into a real seaside! Sand, parasols and deckchairs: Lourdes Plage is the favourite destination for those who want to take a dip in an idyllic setting. A 280^m2 floating pool has been set up on the water. The bathing area is safe and a first aid post watches over the summer swimmers. Lourdes Plage is ideal if you want to relax. A real smart plan.

You thought bandas were the preserve of the Landes and Basque regions? The Hautes-Pyrénées have long since adopted the tradition, and now have their own festival! Pierrefitte-Nestalas resounds to the sound of bass drums and brass instruments played by 300 musicians before the eyes of over 8,000 spectators. Passe-rue, bodegas and parades form a joyful and noisy common thread, while everywhere it's time for fun: tug-of-war, grand Paquito, dances and gourmet stalls... A colorful and emotional event that will leave you with wonderful memories!

Organized by the Binaros association, the Salon du Livre Pyrénéen is a literary event promoting books about the Pyrenees. Initiated by two enthusiasts, it showcases the richness and diversity of Pyrenean culture through meetings with authors, conferences, exhibitions and events. For two days, novels and essays on heritage, history and the environment take center stage, with the award of the Prix du Livre Pyrénéen. In addition to French and Spanish, Basque, Occitan and Catalan are also spoken... It's a wonderful event that brings people together in a warm and instructive atmosphere.

In the Jardin des Tilleuls in Lourdes, the town comes alive for several days of festivities. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy a festive weekend with a wide range of events, including concerts, recreational afternoons and activities for children, traditional dances... All aimed at a wide audience. In the garden, "casetas" are set up for this warm, intergenerational festival, with food and refreshment stands run by local merchants. It's sure to be a convivial occasion!

Whether you are a fan of downhill skiing or strolling in the snow, the resort of Saint-Lary has something to satisfy your winter sports desires. Spread out between 1,700 and 2,515 meters of altitude, the resort covers 700 hectares. Its Nordic area includes a three-kilometer loop for cross-country skiers. Snowshoeing itineraries are also available to link Saint-Lary 1700 and Saint-Lary 1900 on a wooded trail, or around the Oule lake.

Hiking or walking, 10 or 14.7 kilometers, the sporting event of the Coteaux aureilhanais will leave you all the pleasure of choosing! In early April, each year, more than 200 participants participate in this user-friendly challenge. The rolling paths alternate between roads and unpaved roads and evolve partly into underwater. A good opportunity, if you live around the corner, to find your ideal jogging itinerary!

Tariff: 8 € for the 10 km and 10 € for the 14.7 km (plus 2 € on site).
