SUPRATOURS

4.3/5

Certainly the most convenient system for getting around the region. Buses are very comfortable, especially the Premium ones where you are given a small bottle of water and where it is now possible to recharge your electronic devices. Arrival and departure in Essaouira are at the Bab Marrakech terminal, directly at the gates of the medina and accessible on foot. Check the timetables, knowing that connections to Marrakech or Agadir are quite frequent. And above all, don't forget to book your seats directly on the spot or online. Have a nice trip!

To get to the airport located 16 km from the city, you can take a taxi. If you don't want to go through Marrakech, it is worthwhile to go directly to Essaouira. Tickets are sometimes cheaper, but there are fewer flights. Royal Air Maroc and Transavia are represented with flights from Orly, Marseille, Brussels and sometimes Charleroi. As the flight schedule is subject to changes according to the season, it is essential to consult the site.

AÉROPORT INTERNATIONAL DE RABAT SALÉ

The airport of Rabat-Salé is fresh new, a little eccentric, taxis will take about 200 DH to make the airport/downtown route. It is possible to go there with a big taxi from Rabat center, but not by bus. Since 1998 there are interior lines in the direction of Agadir and Laâyoune. In January 2012, a terminal was opened to allow traffic to grow. A new Brussels-Rabat line by Jetairfly has also been put in place. There are two possibilities to go there by its own means: on the one hand with the shuttle from Mohammed V Avenue, opposite the downtown railway station and Terminus Hotel, close to the angle of Moulay Youssef Avenue, departures are scheduled for two hours before flight time (20 DH travel). Shuttle service available from the airport to the city center according to arrivals.

GARE ROUTIÈRE CTM

It would be difficult to list all buses departing from Casablanca. The city is a bus station between the north and south buses. Daily, many buses serve all the towns. For example, there are a dozen buses a day towards Rabat (35 DH, 1:15 a. m.), a dozen for Marrakech (between 90 and 120 DH, 3:30 a. m., 3:30 a. m.), Agadir (between 215 and 270 DH, 6:30 p. m.) Ès… There are also many international buses from Casablanca. Another bus station is located rue des Oulad Ziane, but the companies working there are unprofessional and therefore poorly advised for basic security reasons.

The small reception office of the CTM company is located a little off-center in the new city in the Azlef district. It provides bus transportation to various cities, but also courier services, useful if you have a parcel or luggage to send. Many daily departures to Marrakech, Agadir, El Jadida. Do not hesitate to consult the website to check the timetable, which may be subject to change; you can even buy tickets online. Definitely the best way to travel at low cost.
