The birthplace of Déodat de Séverac (1872-1921), Saint-Felix-Lauragais hosts an annual festival in honour of this original and committed composer. Created in 1989 by the artist's grandson, it is now directed by the opera singer Jean-Jacques Cubaynes. Inheriting the spirit of Déodat de Séverac, the programme of concerts, courses, conferences and exhibitions is based on popular art to celebrate the richness of Occitan culture.

The creators and craftsmen are present in Martres for the love of earthenware. The craftsmen master earthenware, ceramics, porcelain, stoneware, and travel from France, the Netherlands, Spain or Algeria to present their achievements. Since 2021, a space is dedicated to young designers from the Occitania region. They are invited to compete for the "Young Designer Prize". Workshops and demonstrations are offered to the public. The show is a must for lovers of art and traditions!

While most of the exhibits are made in reconstitué marble (the originals at the Saint-Raymond Museum in Toulouse), the interest of the museum's ancient statuary collection remains remarkable. Busts of the christian era are presented on the first floor with the gallery of the gods. What is Total Festum? Total Festum is Occitanie's festival of Catalan and Occitan languages and cultures. The centre for Choreographic Development of Toulouse-Midi-Pyrénées organizes this event featuring contemporary dance performances from France and elsewhere.

Active since 2001, the Toulouse-based association Les Vidéophages is a leading figure in the distribution of short films and image education. A genuine alternative in the audiovisual landscape, its programming is atypical, friendly and associative. Favoring partnerships with local authorities, cultural centers and educational structures, Vidéophages plays an active role in democratizing access to short films. The Faites de l'Image festival, launched in 2002, is emblematic of this desire to take images out of their context and reach out to all audiences.

In this emblematic architectural and heritage venue in Toulouse's Saint-Cyprien district, on the banks of the Garonne River, the Fragments show invites you to discover the region's arts and crafts. A total of 80 exhibitors, representing 13 departments, will be on hand to share their passion with you. You'll find a wide range of crafts: furniture, architecture, jewelry, restoration, ceramics, leather, metal, goldsmiths, paper, textiles, glass...

Do you prefer dark, milk or white chocolate? Artisan chocolatiers, patissiers and other food professionals - over 40 exhibitors in all - will be celebrating chocolate in all its forms at this 3-day show. You'll also be able to sample many other delicacies: cakes, pastries, caramels, jams... A delicious program of events includes chocolate workshops, a parade of chocolate dresses, competitions and demonstrations!

Physical training is all year round: whether it is raining, selling or snowing! If the motivation is not always high in winter, here is an activity that should quickly change your mind: cross-country skiing! The Domaine de Mourtis, located less than two hours from Toulouse, has a Nordic area with 45 kilometres of slopes, at varying levels of difficulty. No doubt you can only delight in admiring Lady Nature in her white coat… And if you are rather snowshoes, you will also find for rent in the area.

Every year as autumn arrives, the rue de la Colombette gets coloured: it's time to gather around a fair that has existed since 1944. It is organised by the Commune Libre de la Colombette, founded at the end of the war, which defends the craftsmen and independent shopkeepers of the district. Accessible to all sportsmen and women, this short green lane connects the Magdelaine-sur-Tarn in Villemur-sur-Tarn with the old refurbished railway, and serves the municipality of Villematier. Before leaving, we invite you to visit the village of La-sur-Tarn, paying special attention to its pigeon pigeon and church. Villemur-sur-Tarn has arrived at the destination and is also worthy of attention: The Defence Tower and the Greniers du Roy are, among other things, an inescapable one.

Every year, over 1,300 short films, ranging from fiction to animation to documentary, are screened during the festival. From the four corners of the globe, these little audiovisual nuggets offer a rich and varied panorama of contemporary short films. Whether you're a seasoned film buff or simply curious, Séquence Court-Métrage is sure to satisfy with its rich and exciting program.

The association Toulouse Polars du Sud was born from the meeting of book professionals and readers. It organizes evenings, meetings and exhibitions to promote detective literature and to encourage people who are far away from it to read. Its most important event takes place on the second weekend of October with its annual festival: during three days, the noir novel falls on the pink city! Mainly centered in the Mirail district, it also takes place in libraries, media libraries and bookstores in the city center and the surrounding area.

For a quarter of a century, this unique festival has been a sailing stage on the Canal du Midi. The Convivencia cultural association, located on the southern outskirts of Toulouse in Ramonville, programs concerts on a traveling barge. A variety of world music is represented as the barge travels from Toulouse to the Mediterranean. Each port of call has its own program. Concerts are accompanied by tastings, river heritage events and exhibitions... Great festive and convivial moments along the water.

This festival south of Toulouse immerses visitors in life in the Middle Ages: medieval tents and stalls, workshops and demonstrations, wooden games, stories and discoveries of Occitan culture... An emblematic event in the land of rugby, the Toulouse Rugby Festival is a festive event open to all, with joyful entertainment dedicated to the oval ball. For twenty-five years, the 31 Notes d'été festival has combined culture, heritage and tourism by offering free concerts, shows, fifty or so tourist and cultural visits and exhibitions throughout the Haute-Garonne. The objective being to create links, no less than 36,000 people gathered in 2022 for the whole festival throughout the department to experience moments of shared emotion. The Salon Vins & Terroirs delights all lovers of French gastronomy! Over 150 exhibitors, mainly winemakers and wine merchants, from all over France come together for this gourmet event, punctuated by tasting workshops and introductions to oenology. How can you miss this crazy summer event, the only one of its kind in the world? The concept is simple: a 35 x 40 m rugby pitch floating on the Garonne River in the heart of the "ville rose", with no touchline or end zone: you have to dive to score! It's 4 days of rugby, festivities and conviviality, with the main EAU'LL STAR tournament featuring French and international players, as well as a number of tournaments organized in parallel to enable all fans to get out on the pitch and dive into the river!

For over ten years, l'Européenne de cirques has been THE festival dedicated entirely to contemporary circus. Toulouse's venues welcome circus artists and companies from all over Europe, to introduce Toulousans and fans from all over the region to shows that multiply influences and effects. The commune of Montgiscard welcomes the sporting event of the Round of Chardon every month in April. Two races of 5 km and 10 km will then be made available to passionate, casual and more trained athletes. The routes alternate between asphalted roads and countryside roads, with a positive 200 m. There are no great difficulties in prospects; who knows, maybe you will find your ideal jogging itinerary?

Oô, well known to cruciverbists, welcomes the best of Haute-Garonne's local produce in a convivial atmosphere. For the past 28 years, this unique event has been held every summer, to the delight of gourmets. Some forty producers come together to showcase their produce and local specialities. It's a meeting place for gourmands, gourmets and a variety of skills in the service of the local culinary heritage.

From 20 to 24 May 2009. Jazz in Comminges Parc des Expositions and downtown Saint-Gaudens. Four days of free concerts in the city centre, music courses, class courses, exhibitions, films, tour proposals and commercial animation…

In the family "Toulousains aux idées folles" I ask for... the festival in a golf course! You know it, the pink city is placed under the sign of the conviviality (toqué ascendant). No reason not to find it on the greens of the region. It is thus the Ugolf de la Ramée which sticks to it. Renowned for its calm in normal times, it comes alive in September for a weekend not quiet at all: afterworks, concerts, food-truck ... Ah, and an introduction to golf, by the way! The setting is superb, by the lake, relaxation assured, in an atmosphere that reminds us why we are always in a hurry to be in summer. A good idea to bring together beginners and advanced players.

COCU? The Organizing Committee of the Unified Carnival! It is this colourful association that organises the Toulouse Carnival. On the initiative of several student and cultural associations, the arrival of spring is celebrated as it should be. It all starts with a descent of the Avenue de la Colonne in a soapbox. Music, refreshments and workshops, the atmosphere is guaranteed. Then there is a treasure hunt followed by a neighbourhood party on Place de l'Extrapade, which lasts several days, with small gifts from the shopkeepers! Finally comes the parade, which starts with the handing over of the keys of the city by the Mayor and ends with music after, of course, the cremation of Mr. Carnaval.

Jousting on the Garonne! Fiesta Garona renews with tradition to offer, at the beginning of September, a festive, family and free weekend. Fiesta Garona is the result of a partnership between various yacht clubs in Toulouse (rowing, canoeing, jet skiing, water skiing...) and other structures such as Toulouse à Table or the Pêcheurs de Sable refreshment bar. Each edition brings together nearly 20,000 people! So you can watch jousting on characteristic traditional boats, but you can also try an introductory session to water sports, or even go for a swim across the Garonne! At dusk, it's time for torchlight night shows.

Building on its success with the Toulouse Game Show, the organizer TGS Événements has been offering a free event dedicated to Japanese culture since 2018. Make no mistake, this is not a "TGS light"! Pop culture certainly finds its place there, but the ambition of this show is to exchange around Japan and all its forms of cultural expression. Africlap is an annual festival organized by the cultural association of the same name. Its ambition is to use cinema to forge social links and create interaction with others. In local neighborhoods, the association organizes workshops designed to popularize the practice of filmmaking. Throughout the year, Africlap also organizes meetings around film screenings. Its annual festival is an opportunity to discover different works produced across Africa, and to encounter their diversity. In Occitanie, it's the most important event for African cinema. Screenings are accompanied by a cultural village, a meeting place for artists and spectators.

If you like the family and joyful atmosphere of the fair, enjoy a traditional Toulouse meeting in May: the Capitouls festival. It is particularly well suited for outings with young children. Historically established as a Compans-Caffarelli district, it moved to its new quarters in 2018, near the Grand Rond. Despite its small size, all the attractions expected from such a celebration are there: colourful rides and angling for the youngest, bumper cars for the tumultuous teenagers, cotton candy, love apples and other sweets for the gourmands. Purely Toulousian, the origins of the festival date back to Gallo-Roman times! Initially a festival dedicated to the dead, the fénétra, also spelled férétra, underwent several evolutions in both practice and symbolism, before becoming what it is today: a popular festival celebrating traditions. It begins with a parade, known as the passo carriero, to the Capitol, and continues for several days with song and dance performances. The costumes are superb and the atmosphere festive. Mister Freeze is an association that accompanies the creation and diffusion of urban arts. It organizes every year in Toulouse a gigantic exhibition. It is the largest event in France dedicated to this artistic segment. It is an opportunity to meet urban culture and its actors. The exhibition is accompanied by conferences, screenings, guided tours and is completed by a space dedicated to urban sports, such as BMX or hip-hop dance.
