This 800 m 2 room has nothing to envy the most famous cultural sites due to a rich season, proposed every year from November to April. In a modern setting, it can accommodate a little more than 900 people and thanks to the eclectic programming of the Mirande tourist office, they are every time taken over. Astrada means "destiny" in Occitan. Supported by the mayor of Marciac, Jean-Louis Guilhaumon, and the Jazz in Marciac association, the venue is designed to maintain the cultural momentum generated by the summer festival. Inaugurated in May 2011, this 500-seat venue with its carefully designed acoustics hosts concerts of jazz, classical and contemporary music, French chanson, theater, circus, dance and comedy throughout the year. It also hosts artists-in-residence and dance workshops.
