Maison Lavabre Cadet was once Yves Saint Laurent's favorite glove brand, and was recently acquired by French luxury goods house Camille Fournet. Established in 1946, the Millau workshop still makes bespoke gloves for haute couture houses. Etienne Fabre created the luxury glove workshop in 1924. In the 1950s, his son moved into the current premises and his daughter-in-law left for Paris to present her collections. The company was an immediate success, with up to 300 employees. Two generations later, the Fabre family is still there, with several hundred customers around the world: leather goods manufacturers, department stores, luxury boutiques... The vast sales area presents its articles: gloves but also belts, card holders and, more recently, lambskin masks.
