This AAPPMA chaired by Jean-Pierre Fugairon (since 1977!) focuses on the following areas of influence: Ariège, from Ruisseau Creek to Savignac-les-Ormeaux, Lauze sur 2 km upstream of Ax-les-Thermes, Oriège from Lake Orgeix (also referred to as Lac Lake) to the confluence of the Ariège and Lake of Goulours. A sports fishing area in the mountains, sports trout in vives vibrant, sporty the approach walking in lakes and altitude ponds!

Enjoy a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. For a few hours or a few days you will be able to fish profusion trout fario, trophy salmon, squash, black-bass. Three options are available to you: helicopter fishing in Andorran mountain lakes, fishing in two beautiful lakes in Montaut even the river path on Ariège. The stays are all inclusive: permits, accompaniment, food, lodging accommodation and, for the lakes of altitude, a small helicopter trip over the mountains. An altitude of 2500 m is set in a beautiful environment rich in 10 lakes populated with countless fish (30 to 50 cm). The first two are 3 minutes from the refuge. Salmon of fountains, farios trout are very present in all these lakes. On average, we fish between 20 and 30 salmonids per day, fly, lures and natural bait. 8 fish per stay can be kept in the chimney of the refuge. It takes about 8 hours to reach these wonderful sites, in an enchanting setting and… 10 mn by helicopter! From 1 July to end September: departure every day.

The Comité Départemental de Spéléologie de l'Ariège offers exciting activities to discover the region's underground wonders. Explore the caves and caverns of Foix and discover the region's unique geological formations.

CDS09 represents speleologists and caving in Ariège through a number of clubs. Since 1952, the Société Spéléo de l'Ariège Pays d'Occitanie has organized underground explorations of all levels, as has the Spéléo Club du Haut Sabarthez. Les Rinofles and Club Action Spéléo Canyon focus on caving and canyoning. The Groupe Spéléologique du Couserans explores new underground networks. The Spéléo Club de l'Arize has been exploring the Ariège massifs since 1975.

Tarascon-sur-Ariège is a town known for its many caves. The Spéléo Club du Haut Sabarthez is a local association offering caving activities. The cave paintings and furniture found in these caves bear witness to thousands of years of human occupation of the region.

The Groupe Spéléo du Couserans is an association based in Saint-Girons, Ariège, which offers caving activities.

The Spéléo Club de l'Arize (SCAr) is a caving association based in Les Bordes-sur-Arize. Founded in 1975, the club organizes explorations and prospecting in the Ariège massifs and abroad, with notable discoveries such as the Unjat network. In addition to exploration and classic visits, the club is also involved in scientific activities such as monitoring cave fauna and studying karst evolution. The SCA collaborates with researchers in fields such as archaeology, hydrology and geology. The club also offers training courses for its members and welcomes new members at the Journée Nationale de Spéléologie et de Canyon. In 2014, a canyon section was opened. The Spéléo Club de l'Arize is also very involved with Secours Spéléo Français. The club's president is Nicole Ravaïau.

This equestrian center specialized in ethological teaching will make you discover the horse differently. The meeting of man and animal in the middle of nature. On nearly 100 hectares, ponies, donkeys and horses evolve in a wild and preserved environment. Elise teaches you to trust, listen and respect the animal. She offers courses, workshops and summer camps for adults, children and teenagers. With her gentleness, her kindness and her perpetual good mood, Elise transmits true values shared between equine and human ethology.

Two tours in one! At the beginning of Brie, this divisible course in two parts pace up the area surrounding the town and the valley of Lavra. The first loop leaves south in a wooded area, while the second, in the east, climbs to the slopes of Terrefort, offering on the way an excellent views of the Pyrenees (at least weather permitting). If 8 km are too long walk for you, choose à la carte, the option that suits you best!

Because it's necessary for all levels, we're integrating a little more difficult mountain bike route into our selection of walks. At the beginning of Saint-Félix-de-Rieutord, it takes you to the hilly landscape of the "massif. So prepare yourself to face some climbs. the cross of the Cross and the Col Pass are perhaps the most fearsome, but you will be rewarded with beautiful panoramas on the Pyrenees, and of course the ensuing raids!

The Escalade climbing site is one of the most well-known and experienced in the French Pyrenees. It is located in four limestone sites around the municipalities of Bédeilhac, Surba and Rabbat. It offers beginner climbers as well as the pleasure of moving on to varied walls of difficulty. All are equipped with good quality equipment, with studs or seals.

The largest Calamès site has 220 tracks, from 3 c to 8 b +: It lends itself both to initiation and to climbing. Exposed to the south, it enjoys a pleasant ensolleillement; but mistrust in case of heavy heat, because only the area of the caves is shaded.

Hike Occitane is a 6-minute walk from May 2016 to the end of October 2016. These hikes are aimed at discovering the natural beauties and the sights of the Midi-Pyrénées region. On October 29 and 30, the «Hike Occitane» will be held in Eycheil.

Located at the exit of Saint-Girons, Eycheil is a municipality of the Regional Natural Park of the Ariègeoises Pyrenees. With its 450 hectares from west to east, at the foot of the cliffs of the Sourroque massif (1 100 m), Eycheil is the ideal starting point for various walks.

The association was founded in 1984 and bought its first plane 5 years later. The center currently handles over 30,000 jumps a year. You'll be able to get your adrenalin pumping thanks to the various services on offer: tandem jumps, freefall initiation, skydiving. From the Pujols aerodrome, you can also enjoy first flights, initiation flights, flights over Cathar castles, motorized flight training and aerobatics.

The Ariège is used to ski lifts! This one will not take you to the top of the Tute de l'Ours nor to the peak of Cadène but will give you strong sensations, just as pleasant on the river of the same name. You will be pulled on 800 m at the speed of a speedboat by one of the oldest ski lifts of France. Everything is secure, supervised, and a boat will even come to pick you up in case of trouble. Pedal boats and paddles are also available. The site offers a sandy beach overlooking a peninsula, volleyball courts, a picnic area and barbecue.

Le Domaine du Chiaoula offers five snowshoe courses, from level to level confirmed. Standard itineraries are relatively short: 2 km (Chemin du Refuge) 5 km (Col du Riufred). It is therefore possible to combine several in the same day, depending on the time and energy you have. The heart of the snow (and skiing) network is the Refuge refuge, which can be reached within an hour's walk. It will offer you a pleasant break, and especially well deserved!

Whether you are looking for strong or traditional sensations in winter sports, the Beille resort has what you need. Nordic skiing enthusiasts can take advantage of the courses that strient the station, from the easy to experienced level. Those who want to try something new will be able to try downhill skiing within the Zone of Northern Evolution. You will then have to detach from the linear line to bypass bumps or try jumps and other slides. During the school holidays, "races for laughs" are organised every Saturday.

Situated at an altitude of 1,300 metres, Etang de Lers welcomes sports enthusiasts and mountain lovers in winter and summer alike. When the snow begins to cover the slopes, a vast Nordic area comes to life. A total of 25 kilometers of Nordic ski trails and 23 kilometers of snowshoe trails are marked out every year. A toboggan run and an orienteering course complete this family-friendly area. Dogs are allowed in the pedestrian area.

Every summer, the lake of Fourcaud welcomes sportsmen and Holidaymakers who are looking for freshness. The recreational base offers canoes, kayaks, optimists and pedal boats to explore the six hectares of the lake. Accessible for beginners, these boats can accommodate several people, for a relaxing moment in family. There are also areas for children and collective sports.

Separating the Ariège and Aude, Lake Montbel is a vast expanse of artificial water where sportsmen can engage in many activities. The Voile River Sailing Club offers Optimists and canoes on time. Only a few, you will be able to explore the contours of the lake or take advantage of the beaches to make a relaxing break under the benevolent rays of the summer sun. Those who do not like crowds will find a guaranteed change of scenery within 570 hectares.

Covering a surface of 45 hectares, Lake Mercus is the paradise of sportsmen and women. And they are right: Its water base and relaxation area are perfect for the return of the beautiful days. While some will take the rays of the sun on the sandy beach, others will enjoy the freshness of the water on board a pedal boat or a padde stand-up that are rented on time. The originality of the lake: its nautical ski lift! A double cable allows you to initiate or train water skiing on a 760-metre course.

Between Lavelanet and Mirepoix, it is the only karting circuit in Ariège. It is the first karting club in Midi-Pyrénées and the 7th in France for the number of members and the organization of races. The circuit is approved by the French Federation of Motor Sport. It is equipped with lighting for night races, a control tower, a press room, a timing room, a store, a bar, a restaurant, a campsite and even a paintball field!

Elisabeth de Corbigny is the "woman who whispers in the ear of horses". She is a whisperer who educates horses of course, but especially riders. If you have the slightest behavioral problem with your horse, or if you wish to discover this method of understanding the animal, she will teach you how to establish a relationship of respect, trust and harmony with your mount. Elisabeth organizes courses of one or more weeks or weekends.

A water park in Ariège? And why not? The Ariège is cold in winter, mountains oblige but can be hot in summer. So, on Lake de la Ginestière, there is a beautiful installation of playgrounds, obstacles to cross, giant slides, and even catapults! Small and not so small and even bigger will have fun in these inflatable games for inflated adventures. For calm weather, we will recommend a stand-up paddle, a kind of extremely stable surfboard on which you stand and the help of paddles allows you to move around. Sandra and Sébastien, the happy aquatic owners, bring advice and safety for fun and wet moments.

These evenings start at 8.30pm or 9pm, depending on the time of year, and take place whatever the weather conditions. Reservations can be made via the website. This observatory, near Le Mas-d'Azil, is dedicated to providing the widest possible introduction to astronomy. Guided by qualified guides, you can discover the stars and planets. Telescopes, telescopes and binoculars will take you light-years further. Introductory and advanced courses are available all year round. Micro rockets!

The EQUIPYRENE network has been in place for more than 25 years and its goal is to bring together, for all the Pyrenees, a dozen equestrian guides, founders of the Bureau des Guides Equestres Transpyrénéens (BGET), but also other equestrian professionals such as riding schools or equestrian lodges, or even saddlers... A very valuable address for those who want to experience a Pyrenean trek and its 3,000 kilometers of trails.
