There are many sports clubs in the town of Epinal. For those who want to discover new experiences, the Epinal club Rowing club is open all year round. However, it is important to mention that navigation is interrupted during periods of large floods. The club offers courses adapted to all levels. For amateurs, the initiation sessions take place on Wednesday and Saturday. From the point of view of equipment, the club has about boats and motorized boats to ensure the safety of rowers. And it's not its glacial origin that will frighten the bathers from taking advantage of its 115 hectares. ASG plongée Les Joyeux Têtards is a diving club based at the lake of Gérardmer. Beginners and experienced divers are welcome to dive and discover the fauna and flora so specific to fresh water. First dives are organised during the summer months. An area dedicated to baptisms has been set up after the last pontoon of the sail. The instructors know how to mix humour and fun with serious explanations of safety rules.

The Union Nautique offers a beautiful space for relaxation on the banks of the lake and activities. 250 m of fine sand, green spaces, pontoons, swimming facilities: everything is safe thanks to the presence of lifeguards. You will also find a giant slide, a diving board, and games for the little ones. A snack bar is at your disposal to eat. Changing rooms, toilets and showers are available for the comfort of users. Note that the water of the lake comes from the mountain: fresh, it will make you feel good during the hot summer days.

The lake of Bouzey-Chaumousey is located 8 km from Épinal. Fishing and sailing cohabit on this lake. Beaches have also been set up to cope with the summer crowds. For everyone's safety, lifeguards supervise a part of the lake. A magnificent natural site conducive to a moment of relaxation a few minutes from the city. For the sportsmen, a cycle track goes along the canal and connects Épinal to Bouzey, a walk accessible for all levels. A magnificent panorama that will move you in summer and winter.

This stretch of water between the station and the bypass is in fact the result of the extraction of the materials needed to fill in the bypass put in place in 1988-1989, between the "Moulin" and "Bruyères" interchanges. With a surface area of nine hectares, the lake is perfectly equipped for visitors in search of greenery and leisure activities. On sunny days, a refreshment bar appears on the terrace of the latter!

The agglomeration of Épinal has turned the port into a leisure site with the new Natur'O base, which is divided into three universes: "Natur'O vive" for whitewater activities (surfing, buoying, canoeing, rafting and kayaking), "Natur'O calme" for calm water activities (electric boat, canoe, kayak and paddle) and finally "Natur'O vélo" (mountain bike, VTC, VAE, Tandem, Fat Bike and trailer for children). A one-stop shop has been set up at the port of Épinal, at the Maison du Vélo.
