The Vietnam International Festival of Traditional Martial Arts was organized for the first time in 2006. Every two years, the city of Qui Nhon hosts a new edition (the last one was held in August 2019) which brings together hundreds of practitioners from all over the world. According to the organizers, "the festival should contribute to highlighting the national cultural identity and introduce international friends to the traditional martial arts of Vietnam. »
