In the Pyrenees-Orientales, the great West is the Capcir. Fun Bike Center is first and foremost a bicycle shop. But to explore the paths of Vallespir, you can rent electric mountain bikes from Haibike, model 2018. The whole team of the shop is also there to guide you towards the trails and loops marked out according to your level. And in the area, there is no shortage of paths and trails and they will take you up to the border ridges at an altitude of over 1000 m. We welcome this initiative as it is the only mountain bike and VTAE rental shop in the Vallespir.

Between Ur and Font Romeu, dare to experience the big thrill and a good adrenaline rush with the giant tyrolean traverse, the accro-rocher (a kind of via ferrata) or the slack-highline (a cable pulled between two walls). In this ultra secure adventure park with beautiful views of the Cerdanya and the surrounding peaks, clinging to the cliff, you will discover real sensations, shared between the eagle and the chamois! It's fun, there's something for all levels (colour scale at the start of each activity), it's very well supervised, and what's more, it's sporting.

Do you want to stroll along the small mountain roads or to hurtle down the slopes like a madman? Eco Bike delivers a bike to your home or as a relay point throughout the Cerdanya and Capcir regions. Helmet and anti-theft device are provided, breakdown assistance included. All the information and the different formulas are on their website. Le Petit Futé liked this innovative concept which democratizes the electric bicycle. The Mountain Bike-FFC Catalan Pyrenees area has more than 40 approved circuits on more than 690 km of tracks and trails... so get in the saddle!

On the road between Mont Louis and Les Angles nestle the stables of Sabine. This horsewoman offers riding lessons, pony rental and finally horse rides to discover the Matte forest or the shores of Lake Matemale. We have been as much touched by the seriousness and professionalism of this equestrian centre as by the attention paid to animal welfare. Sabine makes it a point of honour. You can feel in her stable that the animals are happy and are not there to please the tourists. Long live the respect of animal dignity.

The Col de la Llose offers nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts a splendid and wild site in the heart of the Natura 2000 Madres Coronat site, at an altitude of 1,866 m, you can count on Fred Maugery and the O Naturel team to give you a warm welcome and to help you add some dynamic colours to your stay in the Pyrénées-Orientales. In this environment dedicated to a multitude of summer and winter sports, you may be lucky enough to come across national teams training for pre-Olympic preparations. In the catalogue you can rent skis or electric mountain bikes for free or supervised practice, all the material and equipment for laser biathlon or paragliding. Enduro mountain biking trips, skating lessons, itinerant stays, mountain biking stays, snowshoeing nights are offered throughout the seasons. Children are not forgotten with the Ludic Park VTT, an area specially designed for them with several courses, a game with two free treasure hunts for the little ones. In winter, as soon as the snow has fallen, it's time for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and Nordic walking on the 70 km of marked and maintained trails. The rallying point of this multi-service and friendly leisure centre is a pretty mountain chalet with a pleasant south-facing terrace which serves as a bar-restaurant and offers very affordable dishes.

Thierry's bike park is rather vast: 160 bikes for the big and small, the cool and the sporty. Ride along the greenways, down the slopes or through the pine forests, everything is possible with such a vast and eclectic range of bikes: mountain bikes, VTC, racing bikes and of course the famous Sunn electric bikes. You can rent them all year round (in winter by appointment). The prices are quite affordable and Thierry will give you plenty of advice on the routes. We recommend the rides along the pond or to the wild beaches north of Canet.

Up in Tordères, come and discover the pleasure of riding a donkey in this farm where you can also spend time with the other animals. You will also discover sheep, goats, llamas, aviaries with pheasants, pigeons and ducks. You can rent one or more donkeys to discover the Aspres at the rhythm of his steps, he will be equipped with a pack to carry your bags and your picnic. You can even organise your child's birthday party, with a marked out route on the donkey and a meeting with the other guests.

It is a 9-hole par 36 course, 3,000 m long, on slightly undulating natural terrain. A well-equipped golf course, open to all, beginners and initiated. Approved by the French Golf Federation, it hosts competitions that will allow you to be ranked. The atmosphere is friendly, you can rent equipment on site and take lessons, the competent and friendly team, specialist of the small ball will be at your disposal. The site covers about 20 hectares and the view is superb. A shop and a bar complete the offer of this beautiful place.

It's not just a club, but also a tennis school for children aged 4 to 18, who are divided into different levels: mini-tennis (4 to 6 years, 1 hour a week), tennis school (1.5 hours a week), training center (2 to 3 times 1.5 hours a week). The 2014-2015 season is marked by the arrival of a new teacher Nicolas Bally to replace Joël Mostef. A new learning philosophy has also been introduced for the -12 age group, to improve technical-tactical training and promote competition from an early age.

The shared department between lowland and high mountain offers a wide variety of fishing sites: calm and winding rivers, torrents and lakes. The 60 mountain lakes between 1 500 metres and 2 500 metres of altitude are part of nature reserves or classified sites, including Lake des Bouillouses. Salmonids are found there, naturally. In the lakes of plain, that of Villeneuve de la Droo is known for its beautiful carp, that of the dam on the Agly is for its predators (pike, perch). Recreational fishing courses have been developed, open to all holders of a valid fishing card. Traditional opening dates for fishing run from 14 March to 20 September.

Le Petit Futé loved the place not only for its botanical wealth, its incredible labyrinths but also for the ecological commitment of the owners. Bravo !

Fans of Tarzan, Avatar or Patrick Edlinger, your happiness is here, at the edge of the lake in a natural space at 2 min from the motorway. You will discover the pleasure of evolving in massive trees (two hundred year old plane trees!) and exploring the courses ranging from 3 to 20 meters high with different difficulties. All the courses are ultra secure with a continuous life line. It's fun, sporty and varied. We loved it... Before splashing in the lake!

This place is now a residence worthy of the name with renovated rooms. A revamped dining room... Bluffed the Petit Futé ! And what about the instructors for archery, mountain biking, external professionals for hiking, canyoning and so on. On the equipment side, a 1,200^m2 multifunctional room dedicated to all indoor sports, a relaxation area with sauna, hammam, whirlpool and cryo, and finally, meeting rooms with auditorium and giant screen.

Each season has its own activity at Oxygen Aventure. The range of activities is vast and the team of qualified instructors offers a multitude of activities on land, underground and on the water. The company has been in existence for some time and the instructors are well versed in the sport and will be able to guide you according to your level. Whatever the activity you choose, the equipment is of course provided because you don't go into a canyon in flip-flops! Oxygen Aventure also supervises outside the department (canyoning and potholing in Ariège) and adapts to the needs of groups (schools, sports clubs, companies...).

At the foot of the Corbières mountains, this centre houses about twenty horses and ponies and offers teaching, riding, boarding, breaking-in...
