Elegant and intimate, Papa Doble is one of the city's top cocktail bars. Until recently, the establishment was included in the list of the 50 best bars in the world. In a very elaborate setting, both sober and design, inspired by the works of Ernest Hemingway, the bar's team offers very original creations. Unusual ingredients, little known alcohols and atypical syrups, the cocktails reveal unusual aromas. The vaulted aspect of the room and the boudoir decoration give a very intimate and even naughty atmosphere to this place.

William, already owner of the distillery rue de l'Aiguillerie, took over in May the former Mojomatic with his associate Vincent. On weekdays, the atmosphere is different, cosy, and the music is not too loud, which allows you to have discussions without screaming (quite pleasant because it is less and less common!) Non-aficionados will find this place a little too "showy". since Café Jo', as it is nicknamed by regulars, is primarily the meeting point of a trendy local youth who loves to show off and to be seen. But what type of Montpellier residents would dare to say they have never gone to Café Jo? At Café Joseph, you can enjoy the large terrace that extends over the half of Place Jean-Jaurès and an impressive concentration of young people permanently installed there! In a nutshell, if you look for the place that is a little mythical of the trendy Montpellier, go to Café Joseph, you will find your happiness.
