Getting around by train Gard

Alès SNCF station is a stop on the Saint-Germain-des-Fossés / Nîmes line. This line is known as the "Cévennes line" because it crosses a large part of the region. At the crossroads of the Nîmes and Montpellier bypass, and the Tarascon-Sète line, it provides a service and connections in TGV or TER. The station has a passenger building with a Relay store, open every day. It is equipped with automatic machines for the purchase of tickets (no ticket office). The station has several parking lots. It is possible to take a cab or to take line 33 of the urban network Tango, to reach Nîmes.
