In this small restaurant with a charming reception, you will discover excellent Canary cuisine at a very low price. A large single room (accommodating up to 70 people) with its fireplace corner to discover meat specialities from the country cooked before you: tender, veal, chicken, pork… The menu also includes fish (squid, fish chunks, poisson fish…), soups, a multitude of local starters and desserts, and the country's wines.

It is a restaurant that does not look anything special, but that is recommended by the locals. You will taste the speciality here: meat braised. Do not be surprised by the weekend the crowds that flock here there.

Located at the corner of the main square and near the church, this restaurant, formerly a grocery store, is popular with locals who appreciate quality and quantity. In a large room with stone walls, the owner will serve you the Canarian dish of the day such as meat with lemon and tapas (croquettes, plate of local cheeses...), all accompanied by a fresh papaya juice, like all the fruit juices offered here. Nice terrace where you can enjoy for example the specialities of the house, the mojitos or the baranquitos.

The restaurant and its two large terraces overlook the harbour and offer different specialties of fresh fish and seafood.

Right on the beach, El Senador offers you its seafood specialties with fish, prawns, octopus, squid, paellas (including the one from the sea), salmon carpaccio. And its star dish in this area is the sea bass with salt, lubina a la sal. On the meat side, there will be beautiful pieces from Galicia. But also salads and Canarian dishes such as homemade croquettes of cuttlefish and shrimp, or those with Iberian ham, and a wide range of pastas and pizzas served on a pleasant terrace and moreover with a warm welcome.

There was a time when this place only offered fish and seafood directly from the Agaete fish market. Today this is not always the case, so it is better to explicitly ask for fresh fish of the day, otherwise it will be frozen. Or else we'll opt for mussels. Unlike many Canarian restaurants, it does not serve large portions and the side dishes are a bit frugal. Its real and perhaps only more, its beautiful view of the port and the sea from its terrace which remains pleasant for lunch or dinner.

Well located on the edge of the paseo Las Canteras, it is quite convenient for the small hungry of mini bocadillos, when leaving the beach or to have breakfast on the terrace. There you can indulge in the pleasure of enjoying it while looking at the sea. Namely, it is a little crowded at the weekend, because the pleasure of breakfast on the beach is particularly appreciated by the grancanarios.
