More and more garment companies around the world are becoming aware of the role they can play in the fight against the Covid-19 Coronavirus. This is the case of the founders of Akanjo and Rova Caviar in Madagascar, who have transformed part of their clothing workshop in Antananarivo into a production centre for protective masks. More than 5,000 masks are produced every day and capacity is expected to increase. These masks, which have three thicknesses, are washable and reusable, are distributed free of charge to the most exposed individuals and companies. Akanjo's suppliers, such as Eureka and Celto, are also involved in this generosity, offering the necessary fabric free of charge. A great initiative of solidarity that is part of the DNA of these companies.
