A new city of ten communes, eight of which are located on the Seine-and-Marnais territory, Senart is a growing territory. An increasingly important economic pole, Senart is far from being a purely industrial agglomeration. Many projects have been in place for several years to make Senart a lively and attractive sector. Senart has a city centre: square. Irrigated canals and bordered by willow, the Carré welcomes offices, shops and leisure areas with restaurants, bowling, cinema, high-standing hotel residence and regional shopping centre. Senart, it is eight communes seine and marnaises: Cesson, Combs-la-Ville, Lieusaint, Moisy-Cramayel, Nandy, Réau, Savigny-le-Temple and Towards-Saint-Denis; Savigny-le-Temple is the cradle of the new town. The creation of a TGV train station on Senart is currently under negotiation. In June 2013, however, this project was considered a «second priority» project. It was not called into question but it could not happen until 2030. Senart, a territory that gradually extends but retains its attraction and dynamism.
