A wind of charm blows on this beautiful traditional stone house in the village of Al-Taybeh. Fadi and Jolanda have renovated it to make 7 rooms available to visitors. We loved the bucolic and rural setting of the place, with the old jointed stones, the shaded central courtyard which offers a pleasant refuge in summer and the various terraces. The comfort is rather simple, but the magic works, as this type of address is still rare in Jordan. A hearty breakfast is served in the shade or in the sun depending on the season.

The latest hotel built at the gates of the site offers very pleasant rooms, tastefully decorated and with the latest technology. Touch-sensitive switches, lights that are activated when the front door is opened, extra large and extra flat TVs, sitting areas, walk-in showers and bathroom products with Dead Sea mud: no doubt, nothing is missing for a more than comfortable stay. As a bonus, the restaurant located on the top floor serves very good food and solid breakfasts. At this price, it would be a shame to miss out.

Past the very kitsch reception, it offers beautiful, spacious and spotless rooms (plasma TV, telephone, hairdryer, fridge, A/C, tea and coffee maker, wifi...). The place is very pleasant and far from everything. It offers a rejuvenating stopover away from the tourist circus of Wadi Musa. On the other hand, the rates are very prohibitive for the comfort offered. Try to negotiate.

This hostel is quite far from the site of the ancient city, as it is located on the Kings' Road at the entrance to Wadi Musa, 5 kilometers away. The rooms are spacious and perfectly equipped, even if some features are not worthy of a 5-star hotel, such as the washbasins. Nevertheless, prices are well maintained for an establishment in this category, and you benefit from a heated indoor pool and an excellent buffet breakfast.
