GOSTILNA DON BOBI
Read moreThis distinguished gostilna offers a range of good quality dishes in a tasteful decor. The menu is particularly rich in both international and Slovenian dishes. One will appreciate the quality of the plates and the inventiveness of the gustatory associations. We'll avoid the rather unremarkable pizzas, however. The map is translated into the language of Molière to avoid any misinterpretation and the waiters have some knowledge of French. A nice welcome and good advice about food and wine pairings.
GOSTILNA VOVKO
Read moreHere again, you will have to leave the city centre for a while and go a few kilometres north, to the heights of the charming village of Otočec. The restaurant, with its rustic old-fashioned charm, offers local cuisine with high added value. You will be tempted by one of the four tasting menus, depending on your appetite - between four and seven dishes for a price between 30 and 45 €. Polyglot, the chef de salle will passionately introduce you to each of the dishes for a more erudite gastronomic appreciation. A change of scenery!
FINK & SITULA

The extensive menu is replaced each season, and ingredients are sourced locally. Perfect for our gourmet travelers on a budget.
GOSTILNA IN PIZZERIJA ANTONAČ
Read moreIt all began in 1995, when the Erjavec couple decided to transform the old family home into a pizzeria. It was a daring challenge, surviving in a village far from the main road... But through knowledge and creativity rather than imitation and superficiality, they were able to create a reputation for themselves and expand their culinary offering with fine, colorful and refined dishes that soon won awards from Gault&Millau.
GOSTILNICA BARBA
Read moreClose to a shopping center and juxtaposed with the town's main cinema, its location isn't ideal, but once you've walked through the door, you'll quickly forget this detail. On the bistro side, you'll find the soup of the day, the house burger, gourmet bao buns and an aperitif board to share. On the restaurant side, the offer is more refined: gnocchi, homemade ravioli and a well-balanced choice of meats and fish. A fine effort is made on the desserts, notably the pistachio mille-feuille and mango cheesecake.
