The Ščuka family has been perpetuating the tradition of smoked dry-cured ham typical of the Karst region since 1816! An unforgettable gourmet experience awaits you in the shade of a three-hundred-year-old mulberry tree. During the guided tour, you'll discover how prosciutto is matured according to the old traditional method, ending with a tasting session and the chance to buy the products. Several packages are available for around 1h30 of immersion, accompanied of course by a glass of wine from the region's grape varieties(teran, malvazija).

Matjaž Lemut, originally an oenological engineer, has been living in this hamlet for a few years and produces famous wines. Some appellations bear the names of his children. His recipe? Talent, high standards and an almost scientific analysis of the quality of his grapes. His Pinot Gris - sweet with a dominant of melon - or Noir - intense red fruit - have nothing to be ashamed of in the face of global competition. The master winemaker is an intellectual who lectures on viticulture at most of the country's universities.

This Slovenian chocolate factory has four points of sale. Yet it's a far cry from industrial production: the master chocolatier's original recipes are highly inspired.

The company's specialty is small dark, milk and white chocolates, weighing 6 and 3 g, which can be personalized. For presentation, they can be wrapped first in micro-foil and then in paper, according to the customer's taste. Special mention for the little jungle animals, the black pucks, the medals and the golden leaves.

An address like none you'll find these days. The Butul farm is impressive in its know-how, which it is keen to pass on. On site, you can join a culinary workshop using products from the estate, discover the secrets of making cosmetics and herbal teas by visiting the herb garden, or enjoy the production of natural wines. In the evening, the farm's products arrive sublimated and transformed on the table, giving your hosts the opportunity to tell you about their many travels around the world.
