On the plate, you'll find freshly caught seafood and other fish at affordable prices. You can choose what you want to put on your plate, or share huge platters with a variety of savoury dishes. The restaurant's terrace overlooks the Adriatic. French fries are served on the side, and the service is friendly but crowded in summer.

This small vegetarian canteen offers a duo of homemade dishes every lunchtime, as well as various assortments of pies, quiches and cakes. The cuisine is delicious and surprising: for example, pepper stuffed with paprika will delight the most undecided taste buds. The chef is absolutely charming and will take real pleasure in presenting the different formulas of the day in very good French. The savoury proposals are a delight of mixed flavours while the sweet ones are more sober. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Antique-style inn with a rare Mediterranean ambience, along the marina. You'll go there for the almost perfect mastery of cooking fish, octopus and other seafood. The other dishes, for those who don't particularly appreciate seafood, are of equally high quality and showcase Slovenian and Italian gastronomy. Friendly service, a terrace with a pleasant view and good value for money for this establishment. Remember to book in high season, as places are limited!

A restaurant with a traditional and local atmosphere that doesn't look like much. As soon as you push the entrance door, you are enchanted by a refined cuisine that contrasts with the popular atmosphere that prevails here. For starters, we recommend you to choose the sea plate to share or the shellfish mix, perfectly mastered. The fish plate "Oh my grill" is a sure bet for the main course: it offers the best fish from the Slovenian coast. The desserts are not as original or as good.

On the shores of the Adriatic Sea is a cosy restaurant created by Marie and Thomas. Pri Mari is above all a love story and a family story. Here you can enjoy traditional dishes as well as seafood. Don't hesitate to try the shellfish stew, the langoustine risotto or the antipasti, all prepared with great generosity by the family's son. As a complement, the tôlier will be delighted to serve you a natural local sparkling wine made by his childhood friend.

Traditional restaurant with local specialities (fresh fish from the sea, meat, soups...). We particularly recommend the truffle beefsteak with local ham or the deer goulash with gnocchi. Years of tradition in an authentic setting. Here, you will eat peacefully in the nature on the hills with a view of the mountain. The prices are quite affordable, although the quality of the plates has declined slightly over time. It's a pity, but it's completely curable. Generous portions.

This little address has all the makings of a big one! Its uncluttered, unassuming façade conceals a wealth of expertise, directly inspired by neighboring Italy. Hand-formed pasta is king, in tagliatelle, orecchiette, gnocchi, fuzi, ravioli and more, enhanced by homemade pestos and sauces, fresh truffles and local shellfish. Adding to the quality of the dishes, there's a lovely outdoor terrace, wine by the glass, a tasty homemade cheesecake for dessert and, above all, a very sweet final bill!

Resolutely chic restaurant on the marina's edge, with a romantic terrace. In terms of cuisine, the Mediterranean has pride of place, with pasta and risottos from the sea, smoked ham, fresh figs and truffle delicacies. It's the ideal place for a high-class meal. In season, musical performances are organized to give the place even more cachet. The selection of Slovenian wines and desserts are not to be missed. More affordable menus are available at lunchtime on weekdays - a real bargain!

A restaurant with a strong Italian and Mediterranean identity. Refined pizzas with fresh ingredients imported from Italy, but also a wide range of seafood dishes with octopus, shellfish, white fish... Its proximity to Motovun on the border means that the menu includes a few dishes with fresh truffles and the use of Istria's famous pasta, pljukanci . There's something for everyone.

Glasswort is a plant that grows in salt marshes and in Škocjan Bay. Right on the edge of this nature reserve is this restaurant specializing in the flavors of the sea. While shellfish, fish and other seafood can be difficult to present aesthetically, that's not a problem here. Each plate rivals in elegance, and the deliberately concise menu allows for this sophistication and refinement. To complete the experience, a sommelier is on hand to match food and wine brilliantly!

Simply the best fish restaurant in the region. Plates are presented simply, without extravagance, and the service includes a demonstration of how to cut fresh products at the table. There's no meat here, and only three- to nine-course menus. Immersion is total, with staff who know both the menu and the associated wine list. Reservations are highly recommended, given the restaurant's excellent reputation!

The Belvédère complex's restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the Slovenian coastline, as well as top-quality culinary delights. A popular spot in summer for its large terrace overlooking the sea, but also in winter thanks to its large bay windows. Mediterranean cuisine features sophisticated seafood dishes and sharing options, including salt-crusted fish, risotto de la mer and marmite de crustacés. All that's left to do is toast with a glass of Slovenian penina.
