Portorož is a town on the Slovenian coast, renowned for its beauty and seaside atmosphere. The town offers many tourist attractions, including the magnificent Portorož Bay, where visitors can enjoy the beach and water sports. One of the town's highlights is the Palace Hotel - Kempinski, a renovated hotel located right in the center of Portorož. Art lovers can visit the Maona sales gallery, which offers small-format works of art. For diving enthusiasts, the Maona Rossa, a ship sunk by a mine, is a must-see. The town also boasts numerous stores and boutiques where visitors can buy souvenirs and local products, such as Piran salt.

A pleasant bus station with all passenger services, sidewalk cafés and the added bonus of being close to the sea. Regional buses provide around 20 connections a day to Piran, Koper, Ljubljana, Nova Gorica, Novo Mesto and Pula in Croatia. Comfortable and modern, they make it easy to forget the length of the journey. It has to be said that in Slovenia, we stop in every village - that's what decentralization is all about! From Ljubljana, between two and four departures a day depending on the tourist season, but no express buses.

Bike rental shop offering a wide range of two-wheelers, models for all, children, young teens, adults, through the brands of mountain bikes, trekking or urban. More and more trendy, the electric bikes here have a range of up to 100 km, a single filling and a powerful motor to ride on the plateau of Piran, for example. The team also organizes night rides near the salt marshes, guided tours in Slovenia, which can be extended to Croatia, the interior of Istria or Italy.

A big port like Koper had to have a big marina. Thanks to its favourable position on the northern Adriatic Sea, the marina quickly established itself as a preferred transit area for yachtsmen leaving for Croatia or Italy. In addition to berths, they find a wide range of services for boats, premises for repairs and maintenance, nautical equipment, but also sailing club, fitness centre, café-restaurant.

The third largest airport in the country, only 2 m above the seafront. This modern airport offers private taxis, scenic flights, business flights, flying lessons, parachuting, helicopter rides... Very nice if you can afford it but the prices can be prohibitive for most tourists. All activities, information and rates can be found on the aerodrome's website.

Protected from the winds by two large breakwaters, the marina has 700 berths. The marina can accommodate boats up to 30 m in length, in well-equipped and quiet berths, as only boat owners are admitted to the docks, by means of electronic charts. With respect for the environment, its infrastructures are multiple: covered car parks, premises for chartering, selling, servicing and maintenance of boats, nautical equipment shop, sports facilities, shopping centre, cafés-restaurants, free Wifi.
