This is the take-away point for the Bled cake, which is only prepared here according to the original recipe. It is not uncommon to see a long queue during the summer months to enjoy this must-have cake while enjoying the most magnificent view of the Bled landscape. Since the very first cream cake in 1953, more than 15 million Bled cakes have been made to date, using more than 131 tonnes of flour, 8,437 million eggs and 1,556,000 litres of milk. A Slovenian version of the mille-feuille to share... or to devour alone!

A must for wine lovers, it's the place to go for locals to discover new wine nuggets with Aleš's expert advice. You can drink by the glass on the terrace or buy bottles at a fair price. A tasting offer not to be missed: five half-glasses of wine, a mixed board of local cheeses and freshly sliced pršut, fleshy olives and their premium oil accompanied by fresh bread for €25 per person. A golden opportunity to try Slovenian orange wine and nibble on quality raw produce.

The house, 120 years old, has been converted into a pub. The panoramic terrace is a great place to enjoy an ice cream in the summer or a hot chocolate in the winter. Many hikers and cyclists stop here at the end of the day. The establishment offers a very large number of beers in an Irish pub atmosphere in Slovenian territory. Tastings are organised during special evenings. The atmosphere inside is child-friendly with wooden furniture and old-fashioned table football. Live concerts some evenings.

A novelty and already the trendiest address in Radovljica! It is the union of an ultra-stylish bar with a pizzaiolo of incomparable know-how to offer a menu at more than affordable prices, which attracts a young clientele. One comes here to have a drink with friends from the large selection of beers, cocktails and house lemonades and to enjoy a delicious pizza mortadella, pistachios and fior di latte. The waiters have a good time, the music is vintage and the crowd is full of friends having a good time.

The panoramic view of Kranj? This is where you'll find it! On the top floor of Stara Pošta, originally the former post office created in 1770, is this trendy bar offering small snacks, dessert of the day and especially a very well stocked menu of cocktails, wines, lemonades, detox flavoured waters... In summer, it is the ideal place to refresh yourself by enjoying the view on the terrace while in winter you will enjoy a good hot chocolate near the large windows. We regret however that our dogs are not welcome.

Set back from the town of Kranj, Kavarna Čolnarna Trboje has been known since 2004 for its delicious homemade cakes and various fresh strawberry desserts, available from April to October. So one comes here mainly to enjoy strawberries in all forms but also for the exceptional view of Lake Trboje. It is the occasion to take over the deckchairs to sip an iced tea or a cocktail among a large selection of refreshing drinks! This little haven of peace is well known by the locals.

It is an all-out bar in a privileged environment. It is an ideal place for a lunch break or a family dinner, thanks to its very well maintained wooden playground. Several musical events are organized there during the summer months. Tomaž will introduce you to his cocktail specialties that have won him several international awards. A hundred or so recipes are on his menu! To consume with (great) moderation because the place is isolated from the city. Possibility to eat on the spot.

This bar-restaurant offers a wide variety of hot drinks, including teas. The coffee is robust, Italian style. It enjoys a beautiful shaded terrace. It is also possible to have lunch here, with a rather complete and rather tasty offer of snacks and desserts. Ideal for eating a local and digestible dish on the go between two visits. The speciality of the establishment is certainly the classic or more original detox juice cocktails. Prices are affordable, especially for tasting several Slovenian wines.

Pleasant little café close to free parking. The terrace is ideal in summer for enjoying fresh homemade lemonades and smoothies. The coffee comes from Illy for excellent quality. There's a fine assortment of daily pastries that adapt to the seasons with careful aesthetics, a well-stocked premium wine list and numerous cocktails. The service is young and smiling, and the prices are very reasonable.

In the center of Bovec, this small bar with its quiet, secluded terrace is the perfect spot to sip a drink on a summer's night or start the day with a good breakfast. All day long, locals and tourists alike stop in for a break. In the morning, it's all about fresh smoothies and bowls of granola. In the afternoon, refresh yourself with iced teas and homemade lemonades accompanied by a slice of cake. In the evening, you can meet up with friends to discover a new cocktail and share an aperitif.

This terrace bar takes its name from the Karakter gin produced here in Bohinj. That said, it's the place to go for gin and tonics. It also serves local beers and a fine assortment of finger food , including chicken tenders, sweet potato fries and, above all, juicy burgers at very reasonable prices. The service is young, with a few students in summer, for a relaxed, no-fuss atmosphere. The lake is only a few meters away, and many acoustic concerts are organized on warm summer evenings.
