Concert halls Brasilia & Goias

Brasília's national theatre reopened in 2018. To attend a ballet performance, the national orchestra or a concert of current music. Its amazing architecture in the shape of a truncated pyramid, inspired by Aztec constructions, is the result of a project by Oscar Niemeyer (started in 1960). Two of the pyramid's sides are covered by Athos Bulcão's creations, making it one of the artist's most monumental works.

The building, with its original architecture mounted on stilts, was designed by Oscar Niemeyer and inaugurated in 1993. The various contemporary art galleries are worth a look.
