For the French on their travels in Brazil, eating a good crepe is a moment synonymous with simple pleasure. So, in the ecological paradise of Ilha Grande, the Creperia Tropicana, run by a French owner, is a great discovery. Practically with its feet in the water, this crêperie offers both savoury and sweet dishes (the dolce de leite crêpe is a must) that would make even Bretons nostalgic for the place. Pasta is also on the menu. A must-try!

In Rio as in Buzios, "chez Michou" has become a must. This crêperie boasts an impressive menu of crêpes: there are over fifty to choose from. The pastries are pancake-like, and seem to treat guests before they head out to set the dance floor alight (it's usually packed on Saturday nights). It's good and not too expensive a way to fill up. Okay, it's pretty noisy when you want to talk, but it's perfect for watching the crowds go by in the rua das Pedras. You can also come in for a drink.

If the name "Michou" is very well known in Parisian nights, in Brazil, it has been associated for a long time with a famous pancake house in Fluminense. This fetish restaurant in Rua das Pedras de Búzios has a little eponymous brother in Cabo Frio, although it is not as well known by tourists as the historical restaurant in Buzios, it is just as pleasant. On the menu are sweet and savory pancakes for all tastes. A nice and popular place on the promenade along the Praia do Forte.

The owner, Yves, a French in love with Paraty, cuisine our good olds pancakes: mozzarella and tomato of Provence, tuna and olive or chocolate. One regales oneself at handsome price.

The "blé noir" is a nice little creperie with an accordion concert every Wednesday. The prepared pancakes are very good and copious enough to be shared by two. Savory and sweet crepes of course! Victim of its success, the place is often crowded, you sometimes have to wait in line for a table.
