Horseback riding Minorca

In a typical Minorcan house on the way to Cala Morell, you'll find Cavalls Son Àngel, an equestrian center offering guided rides on Minorcan horses. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled, as the estate and its surroundings are superb, with fields and cliffs by the sea. In addition to the rides on the estate, the center offers other itineraries of varying lengths, including magnificent routes along the famous Camí de Cavalls. Suitable for everyone, from families to groups of friends.

Menorca Natural Horse (formerly Petit Russó), an equestrian center with old-fashioned charm located inland in the south of Alaior, not far from the sea, offers a range of horse-riding excursions that will enable you to discover the island in an atypical and convivial way. There's something for every level: from a 1-hour excursion to a 3-hour, moonlit night ride, not to mention a week-long odyssey on the cami de cavalls that takes you all the way around the island! Workshops are also organized around the equestrian world.

Rutas Ecuestres, a company with many years' experience in the equestrian world, offers beautiful horseback rides along the Camí de Cavalls. The itineraries are adapted to different levels of difficulty, and are carried out exclusively with Menorcan horses. Outings lasting from one hour to one week for a tour of the island on horseback (divided into several stages). Remember to wear long pants and closed shoes, not forgetting sun cream.

Mateu Pons, a history teacher with a passion for Menorcan culture, is the man horse-riding enthusiasts can turn to to discover the island's secrets. The son of the founder, he grew up surrounded by horses, while his mother was the first woman on the island to ride a horse, shaking up the customs and habits then prevailing in Menorcan society. Today, Mateu and his family offer exclusive private or small-group excursions through the island's sumptuous northern and southern landscapes. A unique experience!
