2023 update to the review we posted after our visit during the summer of 2022:

JULY 2023
I think the service, staff and location are still excellent but the room prices have increased substantially. We stayed in a much smaller room for almost twice the price we paid in 2022, and we had a discount as returning costumers, so your rate may be higher than what we paid. If money is not at all an issue, then this may be a 5 star rated hotel for you. But, otherwise, there are other beautiful 'rural' hotels in Menorca that I think are a better value for your money.

JULY 2022
My wife and I stayed at Morvedra Nou in early July 2022. We had initially planned to stay for four nights and then to move on to another hotel in Menorca for another four nights but everything about our stay was so wonderful, virtually perfect, that we changed our plans and arranged to stay for another two nights. The breakfasts and the dinners were delicious, the room and grounds were immaculate and the sangria (oh, the sangria!) was delicious.

David, at the front desk, helped us book our bus trips to Macarella Beach. Alberto and Eva both gave us the most attentive, friendly and kind service at dinner and at the pool. Each of the Cristinas and the other staff and management were very helpful, friendly and welcoming.

We really had the most wonderful stay and are planning another, longer, stay next year.

Maravillosa experiencia en el sunset, con una acogida de profesionalidad difícilmente superable.
Magnífica ubiación, habitaciones muy confortables y de una tranquilidad extraordinaria.
Una atención muy sobresaliente en restauración que invitan a repetir la experiencia.

Una experiencia increíble también, la zona del sunset es espectacular. Tanto el personal como las instalaciones del hotel son una maravilla. Estaremos encantados de volver!

We stayed in this hotel as a couple.
Cons: flies are everywhere: you can’t eat anything, they attack you all the time, also very small rooms, if you open your suitcase you can’t turn around, uncomfortable, there is no laundry service on weekends, they spoil things and don’t admit mistakes, they force you to pay for dry cleaning, even when the item is dirty after dry cleaning. St. Barth shorts ruined. costing 220 euros, they said it wasn’t them. There is no customer focus at all.
The hotel is in a quiet place, you need to drive from the city along a dark, winding, narrow road, there is nothing around, no shops, restaurants, etc., you are a hostage of the hotel, you have to eat their tasteless, very expensive food.
But these are not all the hotel's shortcomings.
First of all: if you come to this hotel, don’t expect 5 stars, there aren’t even dental kits in the room, not to mention sewing, shaving and hygiene kits!
There is no shower at the pool, no service at the pool, we had to look for waiters, they were nowhere to be found after 17:00.
Again, the rooms are uncomfortable, the mirror and sink are the size of a plate, when you wash your face the water is all on the floor!
When you take this micro shower, the water is also on the floor in the room. There is no shampoo in the shower, only body gel!
The handle to the room is inconvenient, I cut my finger on the key when I opened the door. Be careful, take out the key!
We were very dissatisfied and will never come back here again!

We loved every minute. It is such an incredible hotel; the vibe is SO chilled, there is so much space and the staff are so charming. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and just relax.

Highly recommended. Beautiful atmosphere, outstanding decoration and outdoor spaces. We stayed for 3 nights and had lunch or dinner each of the days and everything was perfect. It has been open for a few months and the quality and detail of everything are just impeccable.

Hope to repeat very soon

El sitio es precioso y ambiente agradable. Fuimos a comer y fue bastante decepcionante. La comida y presentación basiquísimas, para nada coincide con la imagen que venden. El servicio amable pero tardaron muchísimo y se olvidaban de todo, tenías que pedir las cosas más de dos veces… no lo recomendaría… solo te iría bien si te apetece estar en un lugar bonito, pero sin expectativas gastronómicas ????

Commentaire pour le restaurant seulement.
Pour commencer nous avons été très déçus du lieu car en plus d’etre mal indiqué, le lieu ne semble pas terminé.
Si l’espace restaurant reste très « mignon » (malgré toutes les mouches qui nous tournaient autour surtout en mangeant …) il en est autrement pour le service ainsi que la nourriture. Nous avons commandé le plat du « jour », un burger steak bœuf et frites. La viande et les frites sont arrivées froides, en très petite quantité et très mal cuites avec du givre à certains endroits du steak. L’odeur de la viande nous a même écœuré en passant outre le fait qu’il n’y avait ni assaisonnement ni sauce dans le burger. D’ailleurs nous attendons toujours la bouteille d’eau que nous avons commandé … Heureusement, nous avons partagé notre déception à l’ensemble des membres du service présent ce jour là et ils nous ont offerts les burgers en s’excusant platement. Merci pour le geste professionnel, mais nous ne reviendrons pas.

Espectacular restaurante ubicado en una entorno perfecto. Atencion exquisita por parte del personal y platos por todo lo alto. Felicidades por el servicio que dais, en especial a Alberto y Emma. Por lo que respecta al Chef (Raul) un 10 tambien. Gran cuidado y respeto por los ingredientes que se refleja en una gran ejecucion de los platos

Review for the restaurant only.
We had dinner for two, the food was simply terrible. We had pepper & tuna salad and croquettes as starters and lamb chops and squid in its own inks as mains. It was canned tuna and pepper in olive oil, average croquettes, overcooked lamb (literally crisp dry meat) and the squid tasted like fish broth. Bill over 100 euros. Nice setting and the hotel looks beautiful but the restaurant is inadequate. Service was ok, only two waiters struggling for 20 tables, in mid August.

La habitación es una vergüenza, no coincide con las descripciones. Son minusculas, un lavabo de 15x30 cms, un espejo que parece un retrovisor de coche, hasta una autocaravana tiene más espacio. No hay estantería para la ropa, ni un escritorio para dejar las cosas. Una vergüenza por el precio pagado. Nos quejamos a la recpecionista, y ni recibimos explicaciones, ni una compensación. De verdad, nos sentimos muy defraudado y por supuesto no volveré y ni le haré buena publicidad...Y es una pena porque el personal es muy amable, y las zonas comunes bien decoradas, pero no se puede engañar asi a los clientes.

So lovely. Everything was stunning the staff was amazing the drinks were amazing the rooms were perfect. My only suggestion would be to have a more varied food menu, it was a bit tiring after a few days but we’d definitely have eaten there more often if there had been more options.
