DIADA DE MAJORQUE

The Diada de Mallorca corresponds to the "Day of Mallorca", which commemorates the oath sworn by King James II in 1276 to the charter of the Kingdom of Mallorca. For more than a week, numerous concerts and conferences take place, as well as a whole range of activities, mainly in the Palma de Mallorca area: Latin sailing regatta, slingshot competition, trotting race at the Son Pardo racecourse. Prizes and distinctions are also awarded to Mallorcans who have distinguished themselves during the year (art, culture, etc.).
