One usually pushes the door when the sun is at its zenith and the burning streets are deserted, to discover a nice cheeky atmosphere provided by the locals happily feasting. Le Quadrat is the restaurant of the luxurious 5-star Hotel Sant Francesc, housed in the palace's former stables and directly accessible from Plaça Sant Francesc. Chef Àlvar Albaladejo's Mediterranean creations are revisited and enhanced, with attention to detail in presentation and the right combination of flavours. The two service rooms, framed by light-colored stone, invite you to experience intimacy and a voyage of the senses, especially with the sensational tasting menu. A high-flying address!

This little place on a street corner in beautiful Valdemossa - run by Alessandro and Massimo - is both a store selling traditional crafts and products, and a tasting table. In the pretty, flower-filled patio (refreshing in the height of summer), you can sample local specialties presented on Pa amb oli boards: pan tomate jamón, artisanal embutidos, delicious sobrasadas, local cheeses and Mallorcan wines.
