With 17 rooms, including 7 singles/doubles, 5 mini-suites (standard plus) and 5 suites, the hostal El Patio has been in existence for twenty years. The owner is English. The rooms open onto quiet terraces or a patio. The whole is colourful and bright, with lots of flowers. The exterior is charming, like a quinta of yesteryear, but the rooms are older and darker. Opt for the suites which consist of a bedroom and a living room and are equipped with a kitchenette. You are in the center of Miraflores, 10 minutes from the Malecón. Wifi. Parking.

The whole place has a subtle charm, and the view of the ocean from the terrace is magnificent (the building is built on the cliff). Your host, Lilian Delfin, is passionate about art and travel (the house is full of works of art, notably by Peruvian sculptor Victor Delfin, her father). Small outdoor swimming pool, large garden at the front, terrace at the back. The hotel is very quiet. One of our favorite addresses in Lima especially in summer. In winter it's more humid.

Breathtaking views from the eleventh floor (the Observatory where breakfast is served). Impeccable service makes Miraflores Park the most luxurious hotel in town. For any service at the Zest Spa, you can make use of the open pool on the top floor. The hotel's restaurant, Tragaluz, offers a small, quiet terrace on the edge of a green park (make a reservation!).

Four cuadras from the Plaza De Armas, this hotel is often full. The old casona is baroque from floor to ceiling, labyrinthine, and bustling with activity. The rooms are suitable for small budgets, quite dark and old-fashioned though, all equipped with bathroom. On the terrace, it's a bit like Noah's Ark with parrots, a turtle, peacocks... The rooms located there are nicer. Wifi, laundry, cafeteria. To be recommended above all to young travellers, because the place is noisy.

This large capacity hostel is located right in front of the famous Ovalo (roundabout) of Miraflores. The dormitories have 6 to 14 beds and are clean, with hot water. The rooms are modern and welcoming. In a friendly and cosmopolitan atmosphere, you will be offered entertainment (bar, catering, table football, ping-pong, excursions...) on the large terrace upstairs, parties on the program. Next door to the beautiful Huaca Pucclana site, we find this elegant boutique hotel. In a small white townhouse, this address offers beautiful spaces to share, nicely furnished, a terrace and comfortable, modern, well arranged rooms. The bedding is new and impeccable. Queen or king beds for couples. Some have interior views and others have balconies on a quiet street. This neighborhood, a little farther from the Pacific, is close to many trendy restaurants and halfway to the Historic Center. All new, all beautiful.

Hospedaje Chez Elisabeth is a simple hotel located in a residential area of Lima. The advantage of this establishment is that the owner, Elizabeth, speaks French and is very helpful with advice on the city. It's also convenient for travelers taking the Cruz del Sur bus, as the station is just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Elizabeth also offers a cab service from the airport at a reasonable rate, which is handy for avoiding hassle. Rooms are simple but well-maintained, although the presence of a dog can cause an unpleasant odor. The area has no particular tourist interest, but the hotel is good for a night before catching the bus.
