ST. VINCENT CEMETERY
Read moreClose to the Sacré-Coeur, at the Montmartre summit, this modest cemetery is in the calm, far from the crowds of tourists travelling that of Père-Lachaise or Montparnasse. By lifting the head, above family chapels and crosses on the tombs, the dome of the basilica is explored. Its narrow alleys and tombstones decorated in a Parisian style have nothing to do with the most famous tombs of Paris. Confidential and preserved, it is a place of contemplation more than walking.
