Closed - Open to 09h00

What is more reassuring when one enters a karate club than has a former world champion of discipline? This is the case in Ki Ken Taï Karate where Jacques De, the boss of the scene, took in 1986 in Sydney the individual gold medal, a semi-heavy category. Thus, the dojo's reputation is no longer to be done. Since 2009, members have been up to follow the teachings of the master, and few are disappointed. It's one of the most beautiful dojos in the capital, with a truly pleasant Nippon air. The master considers his art intrinsically linked to Japanese philosophy. Practitioners at any level can come from the yellow belt to the black belt. One of the best addresses of this kind.

This association offers the traditional Angolan capoiera courses. This form of expression inherited from a struggle expressed by African slaves emphasizes a game of malice, punctuated by instruments of percussion. Once a month, a round is organised on Sunday, a participatory time where the gains are highlighted. The practice of the capoeira goes hand in hand with the discovery of traditional instruments such as the berimbau (wood musical arc), the pandero (small tambourines) or the agogo (bells). Without age restrictions, the capoeira combines the physical maintenance in the sense of choreography and rhythm, while aware that the initial problems raised by this expression are still alive in some countries.

In this sense, whether it's to practice traditional judo, leisure judo or competition, everything has been studied so that every member finds shoe in his feet. As part of the competition, the club participates in all those set by the League of Paris and the French Championship. The training, for its part, leaves an important place for the randoris, because nothing is worth the practice! Internships are also organized during the year. If you add to this a real atmosphere, this club certainly deserves a detour.
