LE GOB
Read moreA bar and even more than that! The Gob is definitely shifted. Determined to "unite geeks and geeks from all over the world", it is with a sense of humor that the team of this essential welcomes you every day for afternoons, or completely crazy evenings. And then, it's hard to get bored here: besides parties, quizzes, board games or videos, nothing is missing. The beverage menu also seems to have come straight from another planet: beers (the choice is just huge), cocktails, we don't know what to choose - note also that happy hour is a religion here. And then you can also find something to wedge your appetite, from terrines to sandwiches and sausages. In short, in a completely offbeat and ultra-warm atmosphere, Le Gob is well worth a trip, and even several!

THE MOOSE
Read moreWelcome to this small cabin in Canada, located in the rue des Quatre-vents, away from the bustle of the Odéon. Decoration is made of birch wood and orignal horns(elk in our country) on the counter - did you know that this word comes from the Basque? Moose Bar offers Canadian beers including Moosehead or the Alpine. Then, you can sit at the bar, prepare your beautiful French accent and order a very good heating burger, such as Le Pulled Pork Burger, ideal for long winter evenings. All accompanied by the unavoidable poutine, a Quebec specialty. Great atmosphere on holidays, on June 24 (Saint-Jean-Baptiste), Quebec Day, and on July 1, Canada Day.
BAKER STREET PUB
Read moreIf the place's regulars, often students, feel the warm ambience imbued in the brick walls, it's because the owners uphold the fundamentals of a successful buddy night: beer and match. Whether you prefer American or European beer, bottled or draught, cocktails or rum, your thirst will be quenched here. As for the atmosphere, there's a giant screen for broadcasting rugby and soccer matches. To satisfy your hunger, we offer traditional charcuterie and cheese boards, tapas and sandwiches.
LE VIOLON DINGUE
Read moreAt the top, it's a fairly classical pub with its long bar of skated wood where beer flows. The students of the Sorbonne love to find themselves here, as well as tourists visiting the Pantheon. Quiet recreation, nice discussions, but as soon as the evening starts, the bar is filled with revellers. This is where you discover the basement, a vaulted cellar where you can enjoy a careful playlist. The atmosphere warms up and we quickly left to celebrate all night long. Attention, the place fills quickly, and sometimes you get the impression of being compressed. A student bar that is worth a visit.
THE FROG AND THE BRITISH LIBRARY
Read moreIn the Frog family, I ask the British Library! In the heart of the 13 th arrondissement of Paris, this évocateur hotel is a British pub (with English servers) and a high-end Parisian brewery. The unlikely mixture of these two worlds works. Like its large "sisters" located in Bercy, Mabillon or Etienne-Marcel, you will find good homemade beers (the decoration will remind you) and you can follow football matches some evenings. This bar - not the most intimate bar - has the merit of inspiring this new quarter of the capital.
THE LOCAL
Read moreIn the heart of the student district, The Local is still far away from the rue Mouffetard so that there is a little tranquillity. It is not, of course, the same for the game nights where everyone is invited, in a good child atmosphere, to the giant screen. In the day, from noon to 19 h, young people or tourists in goguette will be happy to find what to eat for 5 € with a formula including sandwich, dessert or hot-dog, soft or half of Kronembourg.
MURPHY’S HOUSE
Read moreA real Irish pub located a few steps away from the neighborhood's cinemas, Murphy's House is suitable for aperitif time with colleagues or for a drink later in the evening. The beer list is very complete. The establishment also offers salads, tapas and burgers for those who appreciate the pub atmosphere but not necessarily the foam! Murphy's also serves dishes (pork rib's, ham and truffle shells, tartar...). A tip: try the cocktail of the day, always fresh and accompanied by a fresh fruit skewer.
