Classics and world literature, in French and German, and bilingual editions are on offer, much to the delight of German-speaking readers who have been left on their own since the closure of specialized bookshops in recent years. Highly recommended.

Although smaller than its parent store on rue de Rivoli, the Smith & Son Marais bookshop is still the ideal place to pick up the latest VO release, or a great classic of Anglo-Saxon literature. There's something here for every taste and theme, including magazines, and even a few stationery accessories for gift ideas. English-speaking readers will find what they're looking for in this intimate, well-stocked boutique. We also appreciate the good advice offered by the on-site booksellers.
