Absolutely amazing and delicious! The chef/owner is magic in the kitchen! He takes great pride in every dish he puts out and is warm, inviting, and engaging with all who come into his restaurant. The place is so good my parents and I had to go back twice in 4 days in Paris. The French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had by far! Every dish we ordered from the lamb, to the duck, to steak, to foie gras, to ravioli with beef, to the escargot were delicious! Going will be the best gift you give yourself.

Io e una mia amica in vacanza volevamo provare qualcosa di tipico, ci siamo imbattuti in questo posto molto consigliato e con buone recensioni. Siamo state accolte in modo cordiale, disponibile e molto amichevole, abbiamo mangiato molto bene, il cibo era squisito e i tempi di attesa erano davvero minimi. Abbiamo passato una meravigliosa serata, se dovessi ritornare a Parigi avrei sicuramente un posto di fiducia dove andare. Grazie a tutti quelli che ne hanno preso parte e un grazie speciale allo chef.

Beautiful room - loveless service - average to poor food. Without question, the rooms are beautiful and promise a stylish evening with good service and food of a high standard. The menu and wine list underline this claim - the dishes sound like good upscale French cuisine in the same price segment...as do the wines. We had the Oeuf parfait en meurette as a starter - the taste was ok, although not outstanding, and the Oeuf was not parfait because it was cold - and the Esargots - also average.
This was followed by the magret de canard and the poitrine de cochon croustillante avec purée. The magret was cold, the skin flabby. After complaining, it came back warmed up...the skin still flabby, the basic taste below average. The poitrine de cochon was indeed delicious, even if I would have liked a bit more crunch - the purèe was bland, the consistency too slimy and overall below average.
What was really annoying was the smell emanating from the St Jacques at the next table, which finally spoiled my appetite (otherwise a big fan of fish and seafood).
All in all, very disappointing and absolutely not in keeping with the price level. What a shame, especially when you got to know the restaurant years ago at a completely different level.

Comida espectacular en local espectacular. Las paredes están cubiertas de cerámicas esmaltadas de 1914, declaradas monumento nacional en 1984. Representan escenas del antiguo mercado de Les Halles, que estaba a cien metros de aquí, donde hoy se encuentra el centro comercial del mismo nombre. El ambiente es el que se podía vivir en París en la época.
En cuanto a la comida, pedimos panceta de cerdo confitada con puré de papas, que estaba buenísimo. De postre, una crème brûlée, también muy buena, en la que se apreciaban claramente los puntos negros de la vainilla, dentro de la crema. Habrá que volver, a probar el resto de platos.
En resumen: Un restaurante francés bueno, en el centro de París, a precio asequible, y con decoración declarada monumento histórico.

Tout est réuni au Cochon à l'Oreille pour passer un moment inoubliable. Le lieu en lui-même est magnifique, plein de cachet, chaleureux.
Le service est impeccable, professionnel, attentionné.
Et la nourriture....dès la première bouchée on sait qu'on se souviendra longtemps de cet endroit, et que même si Paris regorge de bons restaurants, celui-ci restera gravé dans notre mémoire. Merci pour cet incroyable repas, pour votre sympathie, tout était parfait de A à Z.

La nourriture était délicieuse, les entrées particulièrement généreuse (je recommande l'oeuf en meurette et le gratin des halles).
Reste que je déplore la carte trop peu végétarienne (même si le risotto avait l'air bien travaillé).
Je reste partagé. Si votre budget correspond, j'ai peu de raison de vous dire de passer votre route. Et pourtant, j'hésite un peu à faire une chaude recommandation.
Je vous laisse résoudre le dilemne.

Un service trés agréable, toujours individualisé. On croirait diner chez soi. Une mention spéciale pour l'accueil des enfants qui sont pris en compte quelque soit leur age. La cuisine française est délicieuse, dégustée dans un cadre original, entourer de cochons décoratif. je recommande fortement.
