AL PÈLE
Read moreThe house offers some small restoration but is decorated with as much love as nobility! Omelettes and pan-fried dishes share the bulk of the menu and make the diner salivate. The Do Vî Ferdinand omelette (potatoes, onions, mushrooms, bacon, cream and pékêt) is the speciality of the owner. And this dish has a story it will tell you. Always around the egg, the robust Matoufé is THE traditional local preparation to be tasted before leaving the region. A beautiful culinary trip that we recommend!

An ideal spot for a good time, the brasserie is located near the famous stag sculpture, L'Appel de la forêt.

RESTAURANT LE ZINC

In the kitchen, Miguel Giltaire follows the seasons and alternates traditional recipes in the grandmother's way and creations of the moment. No fixed card, nothing but inspiration. The chef is sometimes accompanied by Thierry Neyens, head of the Hostellerie, who offers you "his" wine list from over 500 labels. A reference in the region. This table d'hôtes has only a few tables and a nice friendly fireplace, so reversion is recommended.

The menu is that of a brasserie, with an emphasis on grilled meats, simmered dishes (in winter) or pasta and salads (in summer). Regional products are also featured (Orval cheese, Sûre ham). The wine bar offers access to some highly esteemed wines. The setting is in keeping with the menu, and there are regular theme evenings.
LE BELVÉDÈRE
Read moreThe establishment's reputation is based on its various local distinctions: ambassador of Orval (the region's famous Trappist beer), ambassador of Maitrank (flavored wine and Arlon specialty) and recognized as a "bistrot de terroir". Not far from the church of Saint-Donat d'Arlon and its famous belvedere, the restaurant serves snacks and brasserie-style dishes in a friendly troquet-style atmosphere. The Gilles d'Arlon, sponsored by the Gilles de Binche, took refuge here to stage their carnival. A lovely discovery to share.
FRANK BAR @ BURGERS
Read moreIf you are passing between Florenville and Etalle, make a stop at this very nice burger bar, installed in the old station of Sainte-Marie-sur-Semois. The menu (burgers based on local products, fries and beers) is well stocked with, among others, a Trappist burger where Orval cheese is honored, the peasant with Ardenne ham or the Franky and its secret sauce. So good that Franky has received several awards. Several local beers are proposed, notably those of the Clochette brewery, very close to the establishment.
