A former ^14th-century convent that has been completely renovated and restored, this prestigious building houses Rennes' convention center in the heart of the city. With a 1,000-seat auditorium, a 500-seat auditorium, a 400-seat nave, a 3,000-person catering area and 25 committee rooms, this high point of Rennes' cultural scene hosts conferences and symposia, as well as prestigious exhibitions (Pinault collection), various trade fairs(Vintage, Real Estate...) and concerts by the Orchestre National de Bretagne.

From 13 July to 31 August 2008. This festival, whose reputation transcends the boundaries of the commune, puts the works of different artists every year. This year is devoted to Henri River at the Wisdom Convent.

The Lillico Theatre organizes every year 11 days of festival especially dedicated to children from 1 to 12 years old. Marmaille and Marmaille en fugue do their utmost to enchant children and families. Every year, the Lillico team plans a breathtaking program with about thirty performances of all kinds throughout the city and the department: cinema, music, theatre, puppets, circus arts, storytelling, concerts, film-concerts, meetings, public readings and animations. Marmaille et Marmaille en Fugue therefore invites you to explore different spaces and artistic forms. Such events specially created and designed for toddlers are quite rare, so don't miss this one, especially since parents are after all only grown-up children! Discover whispering (a space for manipulating books) and performances punctuated by laughter, surprises and sparkling eyes.

The Summer Festival Festival is a youth festival, designed by young people who are offered to those on Rennes in the heart of the summer. A good opportunity to be festive while delivering a popular education event. In fact, this eco-citizen festival offers citizen lectures, world music, writing workshops, dance workshops, drawings, cinema to the beautiful star and even grafts. This time dedicated to 15-25 years is also sailing between urban cultures, rap, reggae, soul and bold trends. During two evenings and during the days, young people can enjoy the originality of the demonstrations in the Gayeulles park. This festival, which 'gives sound and meaning', celebrates its 25 years in 2018. A longevity due to the quality of this fantastic event, a citizen, festive, unifying and fighting against discrimination. It detaches itself from all the other festivals by its free, since its primary mission is to facilitate access to culture for young people in neighborhoods and families who cannot go on holiday. During the day, the program revolves around sports, wellness and cultural activities by a group of artists. In the evening, local groups and poster heads (Rim 'k and Soom T in 2017, Zebda in 2012) share the big scene in a mix of genres (hip-hop, rap and world music). This association sets up several actions: artists' residences, cultural interventions and the festival also called "time strong of circus arts" organized at the arrival of Spring. Here the circus is reinvented under a contemporary light, via shows combining acrobatics, magic or visual arts. A festival that makes a name for itself by going off the beaten track while remaining very accessible to the public in both form and content!

What better way to kick off September than with talent from the Rennes music scene? This festival, created in 2012, kicks off the autumn in style with a jam-packed ten days of concerts. The program features local artists in a wide variety of venues, from the city center to the neighborhoods (ephemeral stages, parks, rooftops, bars...) Indoors and outdoors, day and night, you're invited to explore the city and meet this bubbling emerging scene, before finishing in style with an evening of concerts in the mythical Salle de la Cité.
