Palermo chef Nunzio Tomasello offers a wonderful platter of "crudi" and two daring menus: "Cala Luna", featuring seafood, and "La Rocca", with meats and the finest ingredients from Sicily. The typical Sicilian baccala a sfincione is revisited, the spaghetti a la "Norma 2.0" is accompanied by smoked eggplant, ricotta, almonds and sautéed tomatoes. To finish, the pistachio parfait is divine. Beautiful gastronomic table.

It is a gastronomic den where you can enjoy fresh fish and seafood dishes, but also sushi. The pizzas and homemade pastas are also worth a try! Good choice of perfectly selected Sicilian wines. Highly recommended by the locals, it is advisable to make a reservation as the address is popular.

A rustic place inside and magical outside since you can eat on the terrace, in front of the beautiful cathedral of Cefalu: you can't find a better view. The terrace is often crowded, and for good reason! All summer long, a piano is installed there and the artist who plays there every day comes back to the great classics of Italian music. We enjoy this acoustic musical atmosphere. On the plate, we recommend the house speciality: the fish carpaccio (a real delight).

The menu is limited but effective, we like the concept of the chosen menus: meat or fish, declined according to the season and the local ingredients, as the rabbit in the oven, the home-made tournedos or theinvoltini of swordfish, a delight. The recipes are simple but tasty, that's the main thing. The wine list is also very Sicilian and harmonizes the tastes.

Simple, friendly, tasty and cheap. In the high season, the restaurant is open every day non-stop. The house is run by a family. Everyone pitches in, and it works! The cuisine is that of Sicilian grandmothers. Try the risotto with fish from the day's catch, or a famous fish fry, delicious. The pasta is also appetizing. The reception is very friendly, the owner will always have a little story to tell you, and in French please. The terrace overlooks the port.

Nice restaurant with a nice terrace overlooking the sea and offering a magnificent view on the bay. We already like this setting for a good lunch or dinner. Of course, with such a proximity to the elements, we expect fresh and tasty fish specialities and grilled shellfish. And we were not disappointed! We loved the traditional spaghetti with clams and zucchini, but also the demonic scialatelliwith red prawns from Mazara (in Sicily), and even more the local almond parfait.

A good-natured (and maybe even kid-friendly) pub-restaurant near the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele III. The menu is particularly extensive. There are many vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. There is a large selection of salads, paninis and well executed pizzas. Without being a gastronomic address, the Gli Atenati is a nice place for a cheap dinner in Messina until late, but above all a good bar to enjoy a craft beer. The atmosphere is particularly local, which is its charm.

This trattoria, which is located on a small street perpendicular to the lungomare, offers honest Sicilian cuisine. The fish of the day is usually a good choice. It is accompanied by delicious grilled vegetables. One can also be tempted by the antipasto La Campagnola, an assortment of local starters, by generous and ultra fresh seafood platters or by pizzas, deliciously cooked in a wood oven. The service is very friendly. Do not hesitate to ask for a table in the backyard, very pleasant.

Impeccable service, abundant dishes despite the refinement of the kitchen and reasonable prices make it a valuable place. You can dine in the alley without too much meeting the groups that are walking through these gentle nights. Everyone says it: It is certainly the best restaurant in Cefalù.

We note the neat, modern and retro aspect of the place. Here, you can get your fill for a few euros. Because Giuseppe and Mimma (the boss) don't ask you more than that for a glass of wine, olives, cheese and a plate with 10 bruschette . We also love the lasagne of the nonna, home-made recipe. Or, if you want to have a picnic at the beach or on the Rocca, opt for a sandwich stuffed with all the local delicacies. And if you like good wine, you can choose a bottle to take away.

Recognized as the best restaurant in Sicily in 2013, Antica Filanda has nothing to prove with its @ chefs. And yet it never stops innovating on your plate or on the order with menus on tactile shelves.

We love the spectacular and beautiful panoramic view of Lake Martinelli from this restaurant. Go there for lunch to make the most of the incredible panorama that the terrace offers. The food is good and generous. Special mention for the pizza alla Norma, an adaptation of the eponymous Sicilian pasta recipe (with tomato sauce, fried eggplant, grated salted ricotta and basil), for the famous seafood risotto and penne a la Tyndaris, or the orecchiette with prawns and pistachios.
