Daily press Yonne

The first issue of the Icaune's favourite daily newspaper came out two days after the liberation of Auxerre, on 26 August 1944. It replaced Le Bourguignon, which had existed for 80 years in Tonnerre. In tabloid format, the daily has a beautiful graphic charter, and of course the usual columns. The main daily in the Yonne has four branches (in Auxerre, Sens, Avallon and Toucy) and offers a southern and a northern edition. It also has a digital version, on the Internet and on the dedicated application.

L'Indépendant de l'Yonne is a weekly newspaper which deals with local information in the department, focusing more specifically on the north of the department. And for good reason, behind L'Indépendant is in fact the former Sénonais Libéré! Politics, economy, news, society issues, events and cultural or sports events, this competitor of L'Yonne Républicaine in the Sénonais area has been making its way discreetly for many years now. Since the end of 2021, it is only available in digital format. And it has become 100% free!
