GARE FERROVIAIRE – RENFE

Train

From now on, you won't be arriving at a pretty19th-century neo-Mudejar station, as the city now has a brand-new station that required an investment of 46.2 million euros. It opened on April 25, 2018, with the arrival of the first distancia media from Seville. Today, a new 1,200-square-meter terminal is up and running, complete with various facilities (cafeteria, parking). As for the old station, it is due to be converted into a museum, but no specific date has been set.

CANOA DE PUNTA UMBRÍA

Shipping company

Until 1965, these canoes were the only way to link the capital Huelva to the port of Punta Umbria, crossing the river Odiel. Since then, this crossing has also been possible via a bridge, and in October 2015, this historic maritime route was declared to be of Andalusian tourist interest. Now, during the summer season (late June to late September), it resumes its crossings from the muelle del Levante in Huelva to the muelle de la Plaza Pérez Pastor. It's a very pleasant ride through the salt marshes, lasting around 1 hour.

TRACKETEA

Scooter

For the time being, the city of Huelva has not set up a system for accessing electric scooters, and no applications are yet in the field. But as the city and its surroundings are quite flat, the Onubenses have frankly embraced this mode of travel, acquiring fairly simple but effective models. For shorter stays, you can use this company's rental services. You'll come across them at the start of the muelle and at the arrival of the "canoa" at Plaza Pérez Pastor in Punta Umbria.
