However, due to the isolation of the place, the comfort remains relative and the price a little high compared to this range of accommodation. However, the beauty of Apo Island will quickly make you forget all that.

This resort is located on a beautiful stretch of beach. The bungalows and villas are located in a tropical garden planted with coconut trees. At the disposal of the customers, swimming pool and massages. We love the restaurant, open to all. The setting is magnificent. It is a little more expensive than the average but the dishes are very well done, special mention for the vegetable chopsuey and the chicken with mangoes and curry. A private terrace directly on the beach, an intimate corner ideal for a romantic evening or at least in a quiet and beautiful setting.

The Reggae guesthouse is a very friendly establishment of six individual and family bungalows of native house inspiration , nestled at the entrance of the beach of Alona (seven minutes on foot). A beautiful address where one appreciates the calm, its rock and good child atmosphere and especially its luxuriant garden. Breakfasts are included and will be served on the terrace or in the bungalow. The bar and the kitchen are open from 7:30 am to 10 pm. In short, everything is done so that you will not miss anything. This is a corner of paradise built by Rudy, a Luxembourger who settled in Moalboal many years ago. The resort offers 25 bungalows nestled in a garden with access to one of the country's most beautiful reefs, where you can don a mask and snorkel to enjoy a fabulous reef just 50 meters from the beach. The hotel was originally a restaurant serving organic cuisine using the products grown by the owner and now became a guest room. The owner wishes to contribute to the preservation of the environment and to work in the development of the local community. Visitors are cared for and can participate in the activities of the farm. We are not on the sea, but there is a small swimming pool for unconditional bathers. The rooms are warm and families have a balcony.

The adjoining restaurant enjoys a good reputation, happily combining seafood with Thai and Western cuisine. Moderate prices and a beachfront location make this a great place to spend your vacation. A wide range of excursions, shopping and diving opportunities will enhance your stay.

This beautiful address held by a Japanese couple is located a few kilometers from the port of Siquijor and facing the sea. The cottages are charming and well maintained, the beach exquisite and the service is a real faultless! Beautiful view from the Japanese restaurant for a change (with Filipino and international options). Excellent cuisine as well. For the more athletic, try the tennis court (the only one on the island)! An excellent address where the owners make you feel at home.

Garden village Resort offers classic double rooms and independent villas for up to four people, each with its own private garden, barbecue and everything you need for an independent vacation. Each villa has two air-conditioned bedrooms with separate bathrooms. The kitchen is furnished with all the necessary utensils, and a washing machine is available. The swimming pool is a welcome addition in hot weather, and the staff are always on hand to help. The location is great and the restaurant very good. Very good value for money.

At the end of Alona beach with direct access of course, here is the largest beachfront resort on the island! The 400 accommodations (private villas and deluxe rooms) share the immense space with three magnificent swimming pools, an institute for treatments and massages and several restaurants, one of which is refined and the other an all-you-can-eat buffet. There is also a poolside bar. Everything is top of the line. Attentive and available staff. It is a little ostentatious (certainly) but it is not luxury for a 5-star hotel!

Right on the beach (with its feet in the water, in fact), the Alona Vida is a charming hotel offering attractive rooms at good value for money. The resort is also renowned for its bar and restaurant, the Coco Vida. If you're looking for a stay that's both lively and atmospheric, and at the same time a little lazy and not moving around, then this establishment, which combines all the amenities and is ideally located on the beach, is just what you're looking for.

Close to the port and bus terminal, this 110-room establishment enjoys a good downtown location, with all the usual amenities close at hand (beware, it can be a bit noisy at night). The rooms and facilities are fairly modern but without charm, and comfort and security are present. And for the price, we're not going to ask too much - it's probably the best budget hotel in town. Wifi and hot water are functional. A perfectly decent address for a night's transit.

In the heights of San Juan, hides one of the best establishments of the island. The rooms of Nakabalo are sober and chic, the wood is in the honor. Some have a splendid sea view and even an outside shower. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant serves excellent cuisine. The highlight? Without hesitation, the magnificent infinity pool that overlooks Siquijor and offers a 180° view on the vegetation, the sea and the breathtaking sunset. All this on a background of jazz music. The seventh heaven!

Together very well kept, comfortable and exhibiting an obvious artistic research: shows the open-air showers or the ground floor of these bungalows on two floors (open lounge). However, during our passage in October 2010, the ground floor (so pleasant) would be transformed into other rooms. This may seriously harm the quality of the whole. However, you will always appreciate the small swimming pool that crosses a wooden bridge.

A well-located beachfront hotel, with a pleasant pool and charming, if a little old-fashioned, bungalows. The service is good and the breakfast is very good (which is always appreciated). The only shadow in this idyllic picture is that the establishment is mostly frequented by Asian tourist groups, so live music and karaoke evenings are a regular occurrence... If you don't like to sing (or if you don't like to hear much singing), don't bother!

A pleasant hotel affiliated to the Sea Explorers dive center and located directly on the beachfront. The bamboo and nippa bungalows, scattered in a large green garden, are simply decorated but comfortable and very clean. The most luxurious ones are on the beach. There is a pool, a massage center, a restaurant and of course the diving center. A good address for a retreat between diving and relaxation. Good value for money.

The Marlin is one of Bantayan's best-known establishments, which may disappoint at first glance (the reason for its success?), but which nevertheless offers top-quality services such as transfers to and from Santa Fe harbor, comfortable rooms, a very good breakfast buffet and a prime location, both waterfront and quiet, and yet very close to restaurants and stores. We also like the beachside restaurant. A safe address in this price category.

Located a few steps from Bolod beach, 10 minutes from Alona beach, this resort has a spa, gym and outdoor pool that you can count on for a great workout or a great moment of relaxation. For nature lovers, diving is highly recommended. The rooms will seduce you with their space and their tropical style decorations. The Oceanica restaurant serves refined cuisine, mainly local and international seafood dishes. An upscale and quality address.

Harold offers one of the best value for money in town, plus a host of services: luggage storage, tour organization, day trip or diving trip, etc. Ask and it will be arranged for you by the reception staff. The address has lost some of its splendor but it is still a good place to stay for a night of transit (located 10 minutes from the port). Different types of rooms, with or without air conditioning, dormitory, at unbeatable prices.

Casa de la Playa and its bungalows are a bit higher than the beach, which allows for a nice view. The cottages are well decorated, in shades of blue, white and seashells, with a little Cycladic feel. However, the complex is not the most recent, so don't expect the ultimate in comfort, nor the finest in restoration. It will suit travelers who are looking for a quiet place close to nature to recharge their batteries. The prices are correct and the staff very nice.

L'Amorita is a charming, luxurious hotel set high above the Bohol Sea, offering dazzling panoramic views. More than 90 sumptuous rooms and suites combine comfort, contemporary design and refined decor There are also villas with private pools. And best of all: breathtaking sea views for everyone. The atmosphere is very zen, and the staff promise a level of service equal to that of luxury. The infinity pool is impressive, so all you have to do is order a juice or a cocktail and enjoy this paradise.

Established nearly 20 years ago in Malapascua, initially as a simple guest house, this 3-star resort is one of the island's most renowned addresses, especially among divers. Guests come for the comfort and beauty of the rooms, the beachfront restaurant and bar serving excellent local cuisine, the unrivalled friendliness and availability of the staff and hosts and, last but not least, the relaxed, friendly atmosphere (there are even concerts at weekends). In short, good value for money for this establishment.

This little little guesthouse (on White Beach) is made up of a few bungalows overlooking the sea and offering a magnificent view. Rather simple and rustic, but rather well kept.

This hotel, which is a little eccentric, offers rooms with air conditioning, cable TV, telephone and private health (hot water). They are very colourful, well maintained and functional. Coffee shop downstairs serving pastries and ice cream, plus a pleasant restaurant.

The owner is Japanese and passionate about diving. Courses and excursions around Apo Island are offered. The cottages and rooms are very comfortable. A restaurant and bar are held on a stilts terrace. The framework is pleasant.

There is a diving centre but the atmosphere is more relaxed in this little hotel less centered than others on diving.

This establishment is located in the middle of the forest. From here, one can bathe in the sulfurous waters or enjoy a mud bath. The place is popular with Filipinos who come here with their families, especially on weekends, to relax. Unfortunately the place has not really recovered from the passage of typhoon Odette in 2021 and is almost abandoned, there is not much to do or open on site. We don't recommend to drive miles and miles to come here, but if you pass by, why not make a stop, the place is still nice.

We feel far away from everything in this little ensemble to the Malaysian. The restaurant overlooks the sea. Pity that the bathrooms are so narrow. For price, however, do not make the fine mouth!

A good little address for tight budgets, very clean, with very helpful staff: that's how to characterize this establishment in a few words. All in all, it's an ideal place to stop off for a transitional night or if you want to explore the region, but not to stay all day.

A pleasant establishment and consistent prices for all kinds of budgets. More or less in the middle of the beach, so quite practical. 

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Built on a very extensive surface, the facility consists of two wings: one on the beach, the second on the other side of the road and in the hills. The Café Biz (open to all) offers a continental breakfast buffet as well as dishes throughout the day. Good value for money.

Located behind the Ging Ging restaurant, this guesthouse offers the cheapest rooms on the island. At this rate, the level of comfort is summarized, but everything is very well maintained. For small budgets, this is the ideal address.

Located on Sugar Beach, the Bermuda Beach Resort is a place where you can feel good in Bermuda shorts and flip-flops. Decorated in a slightly kitschy "farm and fish" concept, it offers comfortable rooms and cozy bungalows (though without hot water). A restaurant offers Filipino and Italian dishes, with a pool table, a reading corner (with a library, which can be useful because the evenings are not very lively), and some Filipino handicrafts.
