To get from Taveuni to Savusavu is relatively simple: go to the Wairiki wharf to catch the 7 a.m. ferry, then on the other side at Bucca Bay a bus from the same company is waiting to take you to Savusavu. Approximately 2h30 - 3h journey in total. The ferry departs from Wairiki at 7am and in the other direction (Bucca Bay - Taveuni) at around 9am.
