GATLIFF HEBRIDEAN HOSTELS TRUST

The Gatliff Trust has 3 hostels across the Outer Hebrides: one in Rhenigidale (Harris), one in Bernaray (North Uist) and one in Howmore (South Uist). These are former croft houses converted to accommodate travellers. The concept is simple: they are open all year round, no reservations are possible. You push the door, choose a bed and pay cash in an envelope or to the caretaker who comes by daily.
