The departmental committees of Upper and Lower Normandy merged in 2017, combining their strengths. Answer the call of Normandy and hike in Honfleur, Falaise, discover the castles of Bizy, Vasceuil, the Nez de Jaubourg, Mont Saint-Michel, Tahitou Island, the Roche d'Oëtre... Normandy includes three regional nature parks: the Parc des Boucles de la Seine Normande, the Parc Normandie Maine and the Parc du Perche.

Golf fans, get set! Located near Caen, Golf Compact, opened in 2011, is a shortened 6-hole course. Short but strategic, completed in around an hour, it enables beginners to understand the subtleties of the game (introduction to solid fundamentals) and more experienced golfers to progress in gesture, precision and technique. With its top-quality facilities (driving range with colored synthetic targets, practice bunkers, etc.), this golf course has all the makings of a great one! Are you convinced? Run out and tee it up!

Welcome to the first trampoline park in the Caen area. 700^m2 are waiting for you and promise you more bouncing animations than the others. Ninja course, foam tank to try acrobatic figures, multi-sports zone to improve your basketball dunks. Cardio wall and trampo fitness are also on the program, and even baby jump, a playful way to teach the little ones to jump, roll and fall. In short, something to entertain the whole family without running the slightest risk (you can go there, the ceiling is 6 meters high!).

Open at all levels. Animations and contests all year round. The centre stretches over 10 hectares and offers lessons, sea and forest hikes (30 km away), as well as holiday accommodation (group accommodation weekend weekends) and green classes for groups of children.

Located in the creux of the valley, this trout fishing pond has all the facilities necessary to host the entire family for the day.

Amateurs have some good times, with first class rivers: La, La Rouvre, Noireau and Boulaire. Fishing on the Toc, Posé, Fly or other lures can be practised there. And Orne is classified in the second category, that is, it is open all year to the practice of this sport. There, Fishing at the Coup and Fishing à la Mouche are rigorous. It is easy to get maps that allow for day-to-day fishing at the Ouilly Sports Bar and the Bernier garage.

Benefiting from a magnificent setting, the Golf d'Omaha Beach is a "young" course since it was only built in 1986. It has two 18-hole courses with distinct landscapes between land and sea. On one side, the course "La Mer" overlooking the sea and the village of Port-en-Bessin. On the other, the hilly and wooded course "Le Manoir", with its numerous ponds, always in a typically Norman atmosphere. Two courses for a unique golfing pleasure! Behind, at the helm, a team of enthusiasts, eager to popularise golf and make it accessible.

Business is booming on the Merville-Franceville waterfront! Opened in 2020 as the first facility of its kind in Calvados, this pumptrack is a real success. The course is made up of three loop-shaped mogul tracks. What awaits you: a series of bends, dips and bumps in asphalt. Unlike the skatepark, the pumptracks provide access to the tracks for a wide range of board sports, including skateboarding of course, but also rollerblading, mountain biking, BMX and even scooters. A must for skate aficionados young and old!

Like a big one, this miniature golf course offers an 18-hole course. However, here there is no need to handle your club with great dexterity, nor to dress in the right outfit for fun and entertainment. The holes are "Norman" (you can't make them up!). Barrels, wine press, lighthouse, half-timbered houses with thatched roofs, a fortified castle (rather Sleeping Beauty than William the Conqueror, but that's okay!) mark out a fun and almost instructive route (you will deepen your historical knowledge later)... After the game, we will have a debriefing in the brewery for a drink, lunch or dinner. Salad, platter of cold cuts, mussels, seafood platter, beef tartare, salmon tagliatelle or simply fries are offered. It is said that the place is very popular with turf journalists, jockeys and drivers. You'd have to believe them, considering the friendly atmosphere. If you want a tip, it's probably in there. In any case, ours is the one to make you spend a relaxing day or a friendly "after" evening, two meters from the boards: a beautiful place where everything ends, generally, in music.

For climbing enthusiasts, don't miss out on the 1,400 m² dedicated to climbing! Open to young and old, enthusiasts and beginners, you will discover a multitude of walls and boulders to try your hand at this sensational sport. Breathtaking lines (10 m high!), an area dedicated to children, Fun Climbing workshops, all in a bright and colorful universe. Want to train for this Olympic sport? Courses for all ages are given. To finish off the day, a sauna and a small restaurant are available!

Everyone in the saddle! A new cycle route which is part of the great itinerary of La Vélomaritime, one of the most beautiful greenways in Normandy, is now available. This section of approximately 14 km along the coast and cliffs of Bessin can connect Grandcamp-Maisy and Vierville-sur-Mer. This is the longest stretch of cycle path built on the Calvados coast by the Department. Eventually, it will be possible to link Honfleur and Isigny-sur-Mer along the coast.

At the exit of Clécy, the spectacular via ferrata of the Cambronnerie awaits the enthusiasts of strong sensations! Do you want to gain some height? You will be spoiled! "Vertig' is there to help you cross the rocky escarpments of a cliff along a 250-metre course, i.e. a 70-metre difference in level at a height of 50 metres. You are not equipped? There is everything on site. Also, for the most courageous, a giant zip line of 400 metres (from 8 years old) for a descent at 70 km/h with a breathtaking view over the valley of the Orne. Superb!
