In 2023, PortAventura Park will open its doors at the very beginning of the year - February 17 - inaugurating the longest season in its history: almost 300 days of activity. Every weekend in February and March there will be a joyous carnival with batucadas, travelling shows and float parades! The Ferrari Land (dedicated to the eponymous car) and Caribe Aquatic Park will open a little earlier than usual.

Here's some exciting news: as of March 26, 2023, there will be regular, low-cost flights between Paris and Reus. From there, it's a 15-minute cab or public transportation ride to the park. PortAventura is also easily accessible by car from the south of France (3-4 hours drive), but also by train, directly from Barcelona airport or from the city center: the park has its own train station.

A unique destination PortAventura Park

The weather is one of the most important factors when it comes to choosing a vacation destination. PortAventura World is located 1 hour south of Barcelona, on the famous Costa Daurada, which means that the sun is often out. It is therefore possible to plan a day or two at PortAventura during a family visit to the Catalan capital or the coast. Don't forget the sun cream!

PortAventura World is the first theme park/resort in Europe to receive ANOR certification in 2020, a distinction that establishes that the park is carbon neutral. In addition to being a zero-waste entity, the park is going one step further in its commitment to the environment: in the summer of 2023, the PortAventura Solar project is scheduled to be inaugurated, a photovoltaic power plant capable of supplying one-third of the park's energy needs.

Themed shows

One of the great strengths of PortAventura World is its offer of live shows that are redesigned and adapted to each season. The site houses various spaces with a distinct identity, allowing for all sorts of themed sound and light shows that are quite sensational and offered several times a day. Let's mention for example the show "The Adventures of Tadeo Jones" or "The Birds of Paradise". You'll be amazed!
