Real city fortress, Morella makes the watch from the top of its hill. Its two kilometres from its ramparts, fourteen towers and its six gateways participate in the breathtaking character of the city. Note the convent of San Francisco, which leads directly to the castle. Its objective is to preserve the marine cultural heritage of the city and to make known the historical link between Lavergne and the sea. The museum also has three aquariums that present Mediterranean species.
