Halfway between Pelekas and Triklino, just before the hamlet of Karoubatika, there is a 70,000^m2 vineyard valley. This establishment offers courses in local cuisine and cultural secrets of Corfu dishes, and you can taste your own dishes at the end of the activity! It also offers tasting of authentic local wines, accompanied by explanations on the making of the wine. It is possible to eat and buy local products. The menu changes every season and highlights the specialities of Corfu.

A store for food and spice lovers. Born to a Lebanese father and a Greek mother, the owner grew up with a love of spices and cooking. She also lived in Montreal, Canada, in a beautiful multicultural country. It is difficult for her to choose her influences today! The result: nearly 60 spices and blends are offered here with a nice local share (oregano, spices for bourdeto, sofrito...). You can also be tempted by the different Greek honeys and herbal teas with multiple virtues!

Its reputation, both here in Greece and abroad, is well established. In Corfu, the Mavromatis factory has been in existence since 1965, producing liqueurs, jams and cakes from kumquats - the fruit that has become emblematic of Corfu. Its distillery produces 8 tons of drinks and 30 tons of desserts every year. You can try "mandola", an excellent almond and kumquat cookie! The Mavromatis factory is located in the village of Skripero, and tours with explanations from the workers or owners are available.

The Theotoky family, whose descendants were counts in Venetian times, inherited this large estate. One of the oldest families in Greece, the estate has been in the family for generations. In the 1960s, they decided to develop the estate and start producing wine and olive oil. Guided tours of the estate are available from April to October. You'll discover the secrets behind the production of these noble products, and be invited for a tasting session.

A great place to eat on the go or to buy homemade pies, quiches and other traditional pastries. This small establishment has everything to please: you can choose your pita or a pastry in the window on the advice of a smiling owner. If you're lucky (especially at lunchtime), you can sit on the small terrace for a tasty breakfast or snack. If not, take away for a picnic out of town! Bonus: the bakery offers vegan recipes, which is quite rare in Greece!

You can go there with your eyes closed! The establishment has been in existence since 1924, and three generations have succeeded one another at the helm of this ice-cream parlour that Corfiotes adore! Today, Daphné is carrying on the tradition of her predecessors. The creamy ice creams are made with local produce such as kumquat and wild strawberries. Everything is delicious, and you can also indulge in cream puffs and almond cakes. And if you love it, buy her kumquat liqueurs to prolong the trip at home.

Here's a lovely souvenir from Liapades, and indeed from Corfu, to be enjoyed without moderation. Located in the village and popular with the locals, this store will fill your stomach at almost any time with freshly prepared doughnuts for breakfast or a snack (to eat on the way to the beach, for example). Or prepare a picnic, as their spinach and feta pitas are excellent. The owners will always welcome you with a smile, and will sometimes offer an extra treat to your children (but shh, we didn't tell you!).

This store with an industrial-pop decor is run by Angeliki Agathou and Evangelos Kyriazis. They owe their small fame to their macaroons, which are their specialty. Some would say that they are the best in Greece. In any case, the one made with sykomaida (fig paste), xinomyzithra and dried nombolo smoked ham won the prize for the best Greek macaroon in 2017 in an annual competition organized by the French Embassy! But try the other cakes, too. Their lemon pie, in particular, is a real "killer".
