A must-visit address for Corfiote gastronomy: Franco-Greek Aristotelis Megoulas is one of those meticulous chefs who work tirelessly with only local, seasonal produce, and the results speak for themselves. We were extraordinarily surprised by the finesse of his Greek, French and Italian-inspired "cucina nobile", and by the quality of the dishes served. We can't recommend it highly enough, and happy diners keep coming back. The setting is not to be outdone, on a raised piazza shaded by trees.

One of Corfu's most traditional restaurants, with a loyal local clientele and fast service. In the old town, behind Liston, this restaurant has been in existence since 1932. Greek and Mediterranean cuisine: hot and cold mezzes, specialties, pasta and desserts. Everything is homemade, everything is very good, the presentation of the dishes is original and the service is meticulous. Not to be outdone, the location exudes a certain elegance and romantic charm in this busy, bustling street. Don't hesitate to talk to Periklis, the owner: what a character!

An excellent fish and seafood restaurant. There's no menu. But if you don't know what to choose, the owner will take you into the kitchen to show you his fresh catch of the day. We really appreciate this typical fish tavern where Corfiotes love to come and sit down, even on weekends during the winter... Facing the sea, in an idyllic setting, the owner is very friendly. Calamari, lobster, mussels, salads and spaghetti with shellfish, among others, are also on the menu. A local address not to be missed!

The restaurant's tranquil setting contrasts with the large number of tables on the terrace, which are often packed to capacity. The restaurant has become one of the island's most popular addresses, thanks in part to the variety of dishes on offer, from local cuisine to homemade pizzas. The family-run operation does not detract from the charm of the place, as the staff help to make the meal enjoyable. It's also a ouzerie, where you can try this traditional alcohol.

This is probably the best place in town to eat fish! In winter or autumn, you can enjoy the divine fish soup here. Otherwise, you'll have plenty of choice and probably want to come back. Fresh cod on the grill with steamed vegetables, spaghetti with prawns, half-cooked tuna served with celery purée, squid carpaccio, not to mention fresh lobster with pasta: everything is delicious! What's more, the decoration and presentation of the dishes are meticulous.

Perched high in the olive hills, this restaurant offers a splendid setting. Good food, panoramic views and a sunset guarantee great photos. The cuisine is refined and reasonably priced. Beef with tomato sauce and penne, simmered lamb with baby vegetables and duck with orange sauce are sumptuous. Vegetarian dishes are also available. The wine is top quality and the service impeccable. There's not much to complain about at this establishment, widely acclaimed by locals and tourists alike!

A very good address for Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. Giovanni and his team try to keep the dishes authentic, simply prepared but always very tasty. Pizzas, pastas and seafood are on the menu, with a little luck you can try the pasta al nero di seppia, a delicious dish with squid ink. The place is charming at the end of the Spianada square and its large kiosk offering a view of the old fort and the marina below. If you miss the cucina italiana , this is the place to come and eat.

Bread and souvlakis, as its name indicates, but also very good homemade French fries and some salads. Very simple, very good and very cheap. There are also local beers, such as Corfu and Ionian.

Rendezvous in a superb address and its beautiful setting. "Avli" means the small courtyard of the house in Greek. And it is true and well named! This restaurant makes you feel at home, between family cooking and warm atmosphere. Enjoy great seafood, fish, or other local specialties, in a relaxing setting overlooking the sea and the fort, away from the city center.The dishes are delicious (and rather hearty). We recommend you to share them, Greek style!

This Venetian building is perfect for a drink near a small urban beach. But En Plo also offers decent dining services. Fish or grilled meat dishes, tasty salads and a wide range of wines are likely to make your meal unforgettable as the secluded and quiet setting, with the sea in front of you, envelops it in magic. En Plo also serves excellent local wine and cocktails at fair prices.

We understand why there are so many people, the place is worth it. This is a simple tavern, nestled in a quiet area, near the sea and lined with eucalyptus trees. We would almost forget the crowd of holidaymakers around. In addition, it is one of the most popular addresses for the local population: excellent quality of dishes and unique recipes. Here, the taramosalata (tarama) is white, the courgette croquettes are not too greasy and the marinated mussels and anchovies are elegantly flavoured and excellent. Charcoal-cooked fish and meat, and good value for money.

Going down to the old port, between Donzelot Street and Zavitsianou Street, you will find this lovely tavern sheltered by a large patio. Nothing will disturb a meal that only the boats accompany. The place has a warm atmosphere thanks to the colours of the furniture and the hospitality of the waiters. The Greeks mix with the tourists in one of those cacophonies that one gets used to with a smile. Right in front of the port, with a beautiful view, one goes there rather to have lunch and to watch the maritime life.

It is really nice this terrace overlooking the sea: you will practically have your feet in the water. At sunset, it's divine, and in the evening, when the tables are illuminated by candles and lanterns, it's very romantic! A la carte, corfiote specialities: moussaka and excellent lamb chops, swordfish steak and amazing fried squid! Professional service. A very considerate and professional welcome. The white wine in the pitcher is excellent and the traditional Greek dishes are very well executed.

This welcoming restaurant, with its tables set outside as soon as the weather permits, serves one of the best homemade corfiotes, created here by the respected Marina Beska. In the heart of the old Jewish quarter, a little away from the popular tourist streets, take a sofrito (beef cooked with white wine and garlic), bourdeto fish (cooked in the oven with a spicy tomato sauce)... The pasta with Corfu pancetta and mushrooms is creamy and worth a visit! The owner will also welcome you with friendliness!
