STADE DEMBA DIOP

Stadium and sports complex

This is the oldest of Dakar's two major stadiums, built in 1963. While soccer matches are played here, the stadium is best known for the unmissable wrestling matches that take place in its 15,000-seat arena, which could do with a major overhaul. It's a spectacle, both sporting and cultural, not to be missed.
