The Lotus Rouge is a timeless place with an eclectic decoration. As far as the bar is concerned, the food is quite good and the cocktails are successful, but the Lotus Rouge is above all an atypical place, full of creativity and dedicated to the promotion of art in the broadest sense of the word with numerous cultural events: exhibitions, concerts, theater, conferences, etc. The setting is unique, with trampolines, swings, musical instruments, carnival masks... and a thousand small objects designed to awaken the senses and promote exchanges. A must-see in Playa.

Bar entirely open on the outside. A fresh and youthful atmosphere. With its appearance of local Régine, Aurora knows how to retain its clientele with attention and smiles. Very nice.

Every day there are live concerts by local bands and to accompany them, delicious mojitos with ginger, cucumber or passion fruit, made with freshly squeezed sugar cane with the traditional trapiche installed on the emblematic Beetle at the entrance. The guarapo is the cane juice to which we add a few drops of lime and crushed ice, refreshing and invigorating!

It is one of the oldest cantinas in the city, having existed since 1917. Of course, the place has been completely renovated in line with current tastes. The only fish on the menu is the lionfish(pez león), an invasive species that is dangerous for the local species, so we encourage you to catch and cook it!
