This house divides the premises. Some of them see a middle restaurant, whose reputation would be somewhat unexplored, surely because of the rather slow and sometimes distracted service. Others prefer to give him the benefit of doubt, focusing on the freshness of the products, and of course catfish fish that is in honor.

Located outside the historic city centre, in the new city, Southern Classic is one of the most popular guest rooms of the hotel. We eat the best fried chicken in the city, namely drumsticks and fried chicken wings. It is not a healthy thing, it is not dietetic and it is quite American. 

Verona has just moved to Alexandria. If you doubt the italianité of the place, talk a little with Tony Ferratti, the boss. It turns around every table, ensures that everyone uses a reasonable portion of Parmesan, monitors small malins who would like to cut their spaghetti and finally maintain a warm, warm and Italian family atmosphere in its restaurant. The. are just magic, and the Italian sausage in antipasto is a Sicilian wonder. Perhaps one of the best Italian restaurants in Louisiana. 

One of the best facilities in Alexandria to sample boudin (types of fries) and the inevitable meat pie (meat pie). Enjoy a meal that is certainly rich, but with pure louisianaises flavours. Don't forget the drink, the boudin is particularly spicy!

A nice louisiana shop where all the southern classics are represented, starting with gumbo and bisque, very thick. We also like thumbs-boys, sandwiches loaded with émincée meat, or pieces of fried fish, accompanied by cocktail sauce. In addition, the boss is attentive and passes between the tables to greet his clients.

A nice little address located on the shores of Cane River Lake that serves delicious Italian and Creole cuisine. Fish and seafood are in the spotlight here (crawfish etouffee, shrimp & grits, fried oysters, etc.), but also pasta (mention the capellini with shrimp and creamy champagne sauce), grilled meats and po-boys, burgers and gourmet sandwiches. Bonus: the restaurant has a very nice terrace on the waterfront.
