At the island's small airport, you'll find a vending machine, a small café, free wi-fi, car rental, a tourist office annex and a small newsstand. To reach the capital Saint-Peter-Port by cab, it will cost you around £15-£20 to reach the center. Cabs are available right outside the airport. Alternatively, bus no. 91 runs very frequently (on average every 15-20 minutes) from the airport to the center of Saint-Peter-Port for the modest sum of £1.20.

In July and August, about eight trips per day are provided and six in May, June and September (schedules on the website). From Saint-Malo, Condor Ferries offers daily crossings to Jersey and Guernsey (with the possibility to continue to England: Poole and Portsmouth). When the weather is good, it takes about 2h30 to go to Guernsey. It is possible to eat on board and, of course, to do some Duty Free shopping on presentation of the boarding pass. A simple and smart way to get to the islands, especially since you can of course take your car or your bike with you.

Please note that some connections are seasonal. Moreover, departures and travel time depend on weather conditions: please consult the website - regularly updated - for any question. As a general rule, the Carteret-Guernesey crossing takes about 1h30. Of course, prefer direct connections.
