This huge Victorian property on Loch Linnhe has everything you would expect from a perfect mountain retreat. The ten bedrooms with shower rooms are of different sizes and layouts, with some remarkable views, and all are equipped with every comfort. You can even go out in the evening to pick from the DVDs available. The bar offers you its arms to relax at the end of the day, accompanied by a dram to choose from among its 350 whiskies, including some rare malts. Lunch baskets can be prepared on request.

Ardconnel House is a traditional town house in Inverness, with six rooms, single, double and family. All of them have a private bathroom, adjoining or on the landing. The decoration is pretty and very British, like the shared living room. It is possible to park your car there, but it is best to inform the owners in advance to make arrangements. The owners are warmly welcoming and take great care to ensure that your stay in the Highlands is perfect. Children under 10 years old are not accepted.

Nothing is left to chance here, the decoration, the furnishings, the bedding, the breakfast and, above all, the contact with the hosts who are very friendly and attentive to the well-being of their guests. The rooms are named after golf courses and offer a modern bathroom and beautiful surfaces, with impeccable comfort. Attention, you must book a minimum of two nights from May to September.

In the heart of the village, Tigh Nan Ubhal has three double rooms. They all offer a certain comfort, with quality bedding, private parking and free wifi. This excellent bed & breakfast is located near Smoo Cave, close to hiking trails and sandy beaches. It is close to Dornie, not Kyle of Lochalsh itself (count 16 km), just outside the village of Plockton. A traditional 18th century house, it offers the luxury of a Scottish country house. It will make an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area (why not Skye?), hiking or discovering the surrounding heritage. The rooms are all comfortable, each with its own bathroom.
